2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Just my take mate - i dont believe Textor can finalise and i think its a bit of smoke and mirrors - though i now there have been talks - that's just personal analysis.

There are good people at the club - just very poor leadership and everything stems from the top - we are merely operating, but there are no governance structures or strategic planning, its why we've lurched from crisis to crisis with no one fronting bar our existing manager. There is no plan bar operating or no one to go to with a plan who can sign off for the medium to long term.
He may not finalise anything but if he doesn't then we might have an issue as there really isn't anyone else on the horizon. Even with BMD in the picture the money that needs to be shelled out by a prospective buyer makes it not worthwhile and that's before you even start talking about strengthening the team.

That would be meaning heading for liquidation.

We will be gone in the championship most likely then.
Our start last season was just as bad and we were comfortable at the end with a weaker squad and a points deduction.

I think we will finish mid table and by then we will have a new owner who will appoint a new manager, no huge payoff to Dyche and his management team.

Dyche will probably always be like Allyrdyce, constantly in demand with teams where relegation is a threat but never getting a team that can challenge top 6.

Moyes would be my only alternative if im being honest mate.

The state of the club at the moment a coach isnt going to suffice in my opion - the job is bigger and currently has bigger demands then just a coach.

Like him or not, i think Dyche has fronted an empty vessel and has to front a lot of the off the field stuff and manage crisis's as a result - i think he has done that with great dignity.

If he leaves, the role at the moment requires a football manager, the structures of the footballing Dept need to safegaurded as much possible from the rest of the manure show and the role requires a holistic approach.

The role requires an old school football manager who can build a club, there are very few, Dyche has done it and so has Moyes - so he would be my pick.

Sure if we could offer the manager every support of a well run, lean, modern organisation, i think we could go for a coach - but we're not there and unlikely to be in the next year in my opinion.

I'm not expecting the ownership situation to be resolved before BMD.

The job is bigger then just the first team in my opinion.
What has dyche built ??

  • Speculation per Daily Mail,

Sean Dyche 'could be SACKED if American businessman John Textor completes Everton takeover... with a potential successor already identified' following poor start to the season

John Textor, 58, has set his sights on bringing in Abel Ferreira if he buys Everton.

Would be a very good managerial appointment.
