2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Had two jobs: Sacked by PAOK and won some trophies behind closed doors plus the Brazilian league with the biggest club in the country.

What a manager...
Left PAOK*, to join Palmeiras, wasn't sacked.

As opposed to the current manager who actually was sacked, by Burnley, and achieved a few relegations, fair enough, makes sense to not want someone who's won a pot or two and is actually sought after.

Never forget that when you ask "how did Brighton/Brentford/Villa/whoever find this guy?!?" in the future.

Wild guess - its not true? Thats too stupid, even for Everton. You dont make clauses paying people for nothing if youre already in a mess economically.

Easily gotten around, you simply put him on gardening leave like Chelsea did with Potter, don't have to pay him off just have to pay his wages as per usual.

Contract runs out next summer and no extra payment needed as he was never officially sacked

Yeah we've never hired managers who've won trophies and they've been crap have we? Just five of the last seven permanent managers before Dyche. Almost like there's more to whether a managers would be a good fit...

Because they're ran by competent owners. They don't just hire managers based on a quick glance at their CV and whether they're foreign or not.

  • Speculation per Daily Mail,

Sean Dyche 'could be SACKED if American businessman John Textor completes Everton takeover... with a potential successor already identified' following poor start to the season

John Textor, 58, has set his sights on bringing in Abel Ferreira if he buys Everton.
His CV sounds interesting.

Seems to me a bit of Gallardo case, successful with one of the biggest clubs on the continent, but no club in Europe appears to be pushing intensively to get him yet...

Expect him to be expensive.

A major issue I have with dyche is that he has no vision his mentality is very short term , he should be applauded for what he accomplished with a flawed squad, points deductions and just general uncertainty about the state of the club. Dyche just aims for survival , he doesn't develop squads. I know our team has major issues but we need to improve even incrementally each season with dyche we will continue to stagnate

Haha okay mate, let's never hire anyone unless they're "proven" in the Premier League :)
