2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

The funny thing is, maybe not straight after the game, but today, if he had said something like "on reflection maybe we should have brought on more defensive players to shore up the lead, as a group we've looked at what went wrong and have identified areas where we can all improve'. Sure it sounds like schlock but it might buy him a little good will and take off some of the pressure on him and his team.
His stubbornness and unwillingness to take responsibility almost seems like a tactic at this point but I cant for the life of me see the advantage.

I don't know mate. I know in hindsight it's easy to blame a lot of things, had this happened and he didn't make a sub, it would've been because of that.
It wasnt about making or not making subs. It was about making the right subs.
He clearly made the wrong subs. An 8 year old could tell you that.
How neither you, or he can either see or admit it is baffling.

What an absolute whopper, he's watched the end of the Bournemouth game 47 times and he doesn't think his subs had any bearing on the collapse. This is just gaslighting at Allardyce/Benitez levels now. Either that or the clown knows even less about 21st century football than I thought he did.
Begs the question why would someone need to watch something 47 times if he was confident it had nothing to do with him. Answer you wouldn't even watch it once if you knew you made the right decisions. He knows it was his fault and is just dodging and diverting accountability like he always does. Never his fault for anything that goes wrong. How can a messiah be at fault.
