2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I can't work out whether Dyche is delusional, or if he is just popcorning everyone. He actually said in his post match that he thought his tactics worked well yesterday. We really should have sacked him for mis conduct over the Patterson incident,we now have a choice, pay a kings ransom to get rid of him, or watch him relegate us in our final season at Goodison.
Both ?

I think he’s just plainly one of the most arrogant men in football.

What's very concerning for me is every fan knew we would get a hiding today before the game, then when ot went 0-2 we all still knew Villa would win it.
At NO point in that game or since Dyche has he been in charge of Everton and I mean pre seasons as well have we had control over a game and thought we battered that team and controlled it, as Carragher said on Sky Everton played like a 2nd division team in an FA cup game, why does he not work on possession football, make the other team chase the ball keep it simple etc we have never done that in any game during his tenure.

We are a laughing stock of every other team and it's embarrassing.

What has happened to this once great club, thanks Mr Kenwright and Moshiri.

The whole club needs a clean out and a complete reset.

I for one can't wait to leave Goodison as it reminds me of Kenwright too much

That's a tough run of fixtures we've had: Brighton, Spurs and Villa are teams we always have trouble with and are miles better than us at this moment in time.

The Bournemouth result was the real sickener. At home against a fellow relegation candidate and 2 up with minutes left.

But we have winnable games in the pipeline.

Being 2 points adrift of 15th after these opening tough fixtures is not a disaster. Let's not use a very disappointing start to the season and turn it into a crisis.

Six months ago I'd argue it was sensible.

Not now. He's got a fit DCL and players such as Ndiaye, McNeil, Harrison, Lindstrøm, Garner, Tim who are all capable of technical excellence.
I agree...one thing I was looking for this season was for him to show he can be a bit more expansive.

Listen I wasn't expecting us to start trying to play like City, but I wanted us to show we could put our stamp down on games, show teams we can hold ball and,get in behind, play between lines, just little bits like that and we've actually gone backwards...a lot.

Biggest worry for me is you could always rely on a Dyche team being hard to break down,we're not even that now and I think its a mixture of tactics and the players being mentally goosed under his stewardship.

We're actually stuck between a rock and a hard place with him at the minute.

According to certain people we can't afford to sack him due to a clause in his contract.... Which APPARENTLY states if he's sacked before his contract is up we've got pay him the remainder plus and extra year on top which equates to roughly 8-9 mil. Hopefully a certain person can confirm this if he's online.

Then there is the Moshiri issue as we all know he checked out ages ago but does he care enough to go through the rigmarole of sacking a manager when a deal is apparently close to being struck, also if the clause that's apparently in Dyche's contract is true do we have the funds and will PSR permit it.

He is only still here because the club is still ran by complete and utter imbeciles who have been dragging the club down for years. These fools believe that survival is an acceptable aim when it is actually the lowest thing a club can achieve and that some games are acceptable losses. The second we are taken over whether it by by Textor or whomever, that loser mindset will be gone and this clown and a lot of people above him will be wiped out allowing the club to finally start moving forward with positive aims and with capable and professional people leading us there. Cannot come soon enough for me.

Totally agree the whole club needs a complete overhaul we have had no ambition for 30 odd years and the biggest mistake by moshiri and there have been a raft of them was not going out and getting the right people to run the club
