I argue it by caveating the context of clubs in immediate prior seasons and this season too because context matters. I, think last year was a blip for Brighton and the way they've begun this season makes me feel like they will have a season akin to the one before last hence why I think they're a better side than us.
To finish 12th to 18th we'd need 5-8 worse teams that we can target. Please name them so I know what we're talking about.

Huh?

We cant expect to get anything from Palace at Home, thats surely a TOUGH game?

Oh wait.
My apologies for seeing Everton in anything other than a negative light.

We got off the mark today and we could and possibly should have won the last 3 games.

Next week begins a run of games we can get a good few points from.

But yeah, let's sack the manager and get Carlos Kickaball in from Real Costa-a-Packet CF and see if the gamble pays off.

Palace look turd there.

If we can keep it locked up at the back we can get our first win next week.

I've been encouraged by the way we've played (in general) over the last few games and feel if Sean Dyche can get our defence to do the basics right we will be giving ourselves a fighting chance. To be honest though, I would like to see Roman Dixon getting a start against Palace since that is his natural position.

Wait there, didn’t you say we’re in a relegation battle this year so we need Dyche
Yes I did. And we are. But the last 3 games hand me a lot of hope we'll avoid the drop.

My target is 38 points and 17th. That can be surpassed if we tighten up at the back.
