2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Koeman/Walsh absolutely killed this club.
You want nuanced debates unless anybody makes a point at which you don’t agree with.

I’ve just posted he got us into Europe at his first attempt after 2 x 11th placed finishes.

We then went out and signed a load of players, the majority of whom failed, some due to bad luck like Bolasie, some who did not just adjust to the PL like Klasssen and Sandro, whilst at the same time losing our main goal scoring threat Lukaku.

But sure, it’s all Koemans fault 🙄

Also, Allardyce got the very same team finishing 8th that season.

So if you are going to make nuanced debates for Dyche, maybe try to offer Koeman the same privilege?

How so? Am I not allowed to disagree mate, no? I've long shared my view on Koeman damaging this club.

Another manager, like Silva and Lampard who we only sacked after going into the relegation zone.

We went from a team with Lukaku, Barkley, Deulofeu, Stones to signing Bolasie, Klaassen, Keane, Schneiderlin, Willians, Blasic, Ramirez.

Koeman massively damaged the club

I’ve just addressed that above.

He also signed Pickford who’s kept us up for the last 2 seasons.

Some transfers work, some don’t, it really is that simple.

They were playing an injury ravaged Spurs team made up of their U21s pal.
What happened with Brentford, who had lost all of their away games and went down to 10 men at Goodison? Should we apply the same logic as you suggest? I don’t remember much thought-out attacking play or any actual sentient ideas coming through that day against 10 men.
I can’t help but think you’re on the wind up sweetheart.
I’d love to go for a few bevvies with Dyche and his crew, I’d sit behind them and play their follicle-challenged bonces like a trio of bongos… make it so x

He/Walsh's transfers were so disastrous, they massively damaged the club.

Context is important and he left the club in a much worse situation than the one he inherited. He come in a summer after a comfortable midtable, and decimated the team in 16 months.

If you were to pinpoint the moment it went tits up big time for Everton - in my view, it was his hiring for the reasons I've said. From Stones, Lukaku, Barkley, Deulofeu, Mirallas etc to Klaassen, Bolasie, Williams and co.
