2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

I fully expect Sean Dyche to be in the running for the Spurs job if Ange gets chucked in the bin. What Spurs need is a miracle worker who can get them keeping clean sheets and for all their attacking players to convert in to additional full backs
As amusing as that would be, all Spurs need is a competent manager who can organise the team more sensibly than Postecoglou. They have plenty of good players.

They’d better join the queue then, as according to Nathan Pattersons best mate on here, Ipswich and Leicester will be fighting it out for him soon.

Silva would be good for them I reckon. (I also have a bet on this)

It was pretty much their reserves;

But the bold is a good point. They're bringing on £50m+ Richarlison etc.

I made it a few times this season. Our total squad cost in terms of transfer fees is 19th in the league. Only Ipswich is less, and I think Philogene took them above us. And that's taking fees we haven't spent (like Mangala/Broja/Harrison last transfer fees).

We were getting beat against Bournemouth and I'm thinking "these have 2 players who cost more than we spent on our match day squad".

We have to start genuinely investing in the team - we need 2 or 3 years of transfer fees like Bournemouth/Forest/West Ham have spent over the years.

That Spurs team was better than the Southampton team that Dyche lost to. Sorry.

Nah, more likely Leicester will sack Ruud, hire Dyche who will somehow keep them up and relegate us.

He/Walsh's transfers were so disastrous, they massively damaged the club.

Context is important and he left the club in a much worse situation than the one he inherited. He come in a summer after a comfortable midtable, and decimated the team in 16 months.

If you were to pinpoint the moment it went tits up big time for Everton - in my view, it was his hiring for the reasons I've said. From Stones, Lukaku, Barkley, Deulofeu, Mirallas etc to Klaassen, Bolasie, Williams and co.
I’m not disagreeing

I’m just not putting all the blame on Koeman.

Klaassen was captain of Ajax, had just scored 20+ goals from midfield the previous season.

Sandro had just scored 15+ goals for Deportivo and was a Barcelona player.

Williams had just been Swanse player of the season and been fantastic at the euros for Wales.

Bolasie basically ended his career 2 months into signing for us.

Lukaku wanted to go to man united.

It’s all fine margins.

By the way you haven’t acknowledged the fact he took over a mid table team and got European football in his first season.

Funny how much you are desperate for this to happen. I will be reminding you of it after every single game we win, don’t you worry about that.

Imagine attaching yourself this passionately to Sean Dyche
