I was one of Dyche’s biggest haters before we hired him but I wouldn’t say that bold part is true imo

He'll go for big, cheap, older players who have played for him before. The best course of action is not to allow him to have a big say in recruitment, as we all know he won't survive long here. The DOF should be taking charge of recruitment, so that when the manager is sacked, at least we are not left with a load of his favourites who the next manager won't fancy.

But... I suppose the problem is, 'Big Kev' doing bits and Everton aren't we. If Dyche starts next season as Everton manager, I don't believe he will last the whole season, however, Barnes, Woods, Weghorst etc. will be here for three years or so after him.
