Anybody that wants him gone needs to get a reality check of were we are and where we are going the next season or two.
Midtable stability , before we move into the new ground is the target and anything else will be the icing on the cake.
Yes, at least 1 season of boring, mid table mediocrity is key before we move into our new stadium

It's clear as day. Everybody called it on here. Selling Richy and relying on Dom was absolute madness. Then buying Maupay in January??? We've a half decent defence but the midfield can't work when the makeshift striker can't hold the ball up or bring people into play.

We need stability at the club and I think Dyche brings that. Is he the long term solution? No. But he’s good to help build a solid foundation. The last thing we need is a hipster manager with a cool haircut who will be fired after 6 months.

If we have any kind of money to spend and the squad is going to be rebuilt, now is the time to get a manager in long-term.

If Dyche isn't seen as a long-term manager and was meerly a stop-gap, then we have to find someone else. Otherwise if the goal is for him to be around for years to come, ala Moyes, then you give him the keys and pray.
We've just survived by the skin of our teeth for a second time in a row, not a chance on earth the owner/board are going to want to roll the dice on yet another manager 1 year away from BMD move.

The budget will probably be similar to last season, a few "Dyche type" players will come in no doubt, and the owner/board will be confident they've seen enough to suggest a full season under Dyche will have the club comfortably somewhere in the 'top 17' next season, which is all they care about until BMD.

We didn't sign anyone in January, sadly Maupay has been here since the summer. 1 goal return on a £12m fee. Yet another stellar bit of transfer business. Finding a club anywhere willing to take him will be as big a miracle as avoiding relegation was.
