He is a good manager did Burnley sack him because they got deluded and expected expansive pretty football with a peanuts budget and while those around you spend more money the outcome was inevitable
No they sacked him because he won 4 games in 30 and almost had them relegated for the 3rd time.. the guy who replaced him won 4 games in a row.. he won less games then Lampard

I know what you’re saying about the league table in 17/18, but watching us under Koeman we looked the worst team in the league and highly likely to go down when Allardyce came in. I think I was more convinced of relegation then than I was now.

We had a back 4 of Martina a veteran Jagielka, Keane with a gashed foot and Kenny

No pace or creativity in midfield

A forward line with no pace or threat whatsoever

Perhaps the one saving grace was we knew we could spend big in January, but i actually think we have a bit more lace and power in all positions now than we did then.
Nah I know what you mean about them looking bad but realistically the situation was absolutely nothing like this one. That was a side which had finished 7th the year before, it finished 8th that year, and 8th the year after. When they were bad they looked terrible, but they just weren't a relegation threatened side. At this point in that year we had 27 points, i'm not sure this team as it stands is capable of bettering that by the end of the season. We already had the same amount of points as we've got now when Allardyce took over, but it was 6 games earlier and we still had the majority of the clearly winnable games (home to drosss) left to play. My biggest concern about this year is that most of those games have come and gone already. I know things seemed a bit bleak after we got smashed by Southampton but taking us down that year would have been a real feat of appalling management.

I just said that PL wages are a major, major pull for players all over the world and manager reputation less so. Especially those in the market that Everton are shopping in - players who'd just like a chance in the PL and the money / opportunities it brings them.

I honestly don't think that Lampard has quite the pull, in comparative terms, as the dough. In fact I'd go so far as to say it's very likely the influence of Martinez & Lukaku swung it more than Lampard.

If that upsets you enough to go throwing personal insults around then I recommend a bit of time off the internet. Such aggression really isn't healthy.
Doesn’t upset me just couldn’t be bothered going on. I said myself with players of today salary is the biggest factor but there are other reason. I believe if Dyche was are manager at the start of the season we probably wouldn’t be in this situation but Onana would have went to West Ham. Just my opinion

Just means the club won't drain the life out of them. Lamps was getting well thin he wore a beanie in his last game
Yeah maybe if you become manager when you're already bald the curse works in reverse. Can't wait to see Dyche at the end of the season.

A month from now we'll have a very clear view of what Sean Dyche's plan here is. If it is anything other than get it wide, lump it in the box I'll be staggered.
He won’t last 8 games. He needs 7 points from the next 4, should he lose all 4 he should be sacked
