I dont think so. My thoughts on him are well documented in the iwobi thread so i wont go on to much in here. He has no real hunger. Football funds his lifestyle. I dont think he would be to fussed getting relegated as long he he keeps getting paid.
In order for this post to counter mine, it implies you think most other guys in the squad feel differently? Or footballers in general today?

You may be right about Iwobi. But based on watching him play, I don't think he looks like he cares any less than anyone else in our squad. And he's better than most in our squad

Frank should have gone after the 2nd Bournemouth debacle, we could have had all the time of the World cup to get a manager in train with the players like Wolves did etc -....the Board are useless - end of -
They're atrocious.

But I think the delay getting Lampard out was down to the 'internal review' which sought to curb Moshiri's tendency to pull the plug on managers prematurely and for a more formal process to deal with firings and hirings.

Not a bad idea, but under these circumstances...because we have a clueless inert board and a weak DoF who'll dance to other people's tunes to get and keep his job....it was disastrous.

Just how disatstous we've yet to find out.

He signed Michael Keane and then absolutely rinsed some mug club for him.

Nick Pope, Trippier, Danny Ings and others he's turned a decent profit on. The over-the-hill English player isn't as great a percentage of his deals as some make out and were partly a result of not having money to spend but needing bodies in.

EDIT - Been pointed out I'm wrong about a couple of these. Trippier & Ings Eddie Howe signings.

he can't sell to that mug club anymore though and theres no bigger mugs than them

It's not the Garlick ownership that dictate what sort of players Dyche could buy. It's Dyche himself preferring old British or Irish players with little skill and be throwing themselves about with shithousery - a perfect example would be Ashley Barnes. I believe the recruitment changed somewhat after Pace became the new chairman and took some of the buying decisions away from Dyche. In our case, I can see sparks flying between Dyche and Thelwell

Not overly thrilled with the appointment but watched a video of him being interviewed on a golf course last week and he explains that Burnley didn’t have the depth of scouting or good enough connections to profile foreign players. The club wanted very few mistakes and didn’t want to take risks so they went for players they could profile and background check essentially.

Who knows but it makes sense given their resources for the majority of his time there.

I didn’t want any of the managers we were linked with, but that’s the nature of being where we are. Dyche was a millions times a better fit than Bielsa was ever gonna be.
I don’t think you can really judge Dyche on the last year at Burnley, they had been together too long and I think it showed, Eddie Howe was very similar at Bournemouth, too long in the same job.
I think Dyche may surprise us, he’s had a good break and and maybe with a new set of players he may be able to do something different.
