We don’t seem to learn our lessons do we, another uninspiring, bland appointment. There are so many exciting managers out of work at the moment, but we do the usual prem experience nonsense and it’s the hobsons choice again. I wasn’t convinced on bielsa but think I preferred him.

Of course, I wish Dyche well and I hope and pray he can inspire these lazy players to do enough this season to keep us up, and he and the team will get my full support, but we all know what we will get with him and I’m not exactly looking forward to it.

Wish we had bulleted frank pre Wc and let bielsa get right into the players for 7 weeks and sort the entire club out.
Well who are the exiting out of work managers who would have come to Everton mid season.
Bielsa certainly not. He said so.

Yeah i'm with you. I'm kind of defending the appointment on here because i don't think it's as bad as some are suggesting, but make no mistake he's not the man i'd have actually wanted by any means.
I think that this job is too big for young managers without enough experience.
I think the example of that is Marco Silva. The job was too big and too soon for him.

We may be a basket case, but we are a big basket case with high expectations which can weigh down on a young manager.

Yeah maybe if you become manager when you're already bald the curse works in reverse. Can't wait to see Dyche at the end of the season.

His beard will fall out by May.

On a side note, it's hilarious to read how excited the Burnley fans are at their beehole end forum about Dyche's appointment as Everton manager. One poster commented that their forum will become an extension of the Grand Old Team lol Goes to show how looney these brexit boonleh fans are especially the ones who are demanding "justice" about the Richarlison incident and them deserving to stay up. Fug the lot of them!

Evidently none of any quality.
Our stock has fallen so low we are little more than a Championship club already.
Our imminent relegation will just be final confirmation of this brutal fact.

Never thought I would say this and maybe it's testament to how much this club has absolutely destroyed me mentally...

But honestly feeling today like I would have rather seen us go down and rebuild with Bielsa than survive by the skin of our teeth with Dyche.

It's daft and I probably won't feel the same in a weeks time, but seeing the news break today I felt sick to my stomach.

I've seen people comparing it to Allardyce, which you have to say worked to an extent. It's not the same. Allardyce was only ever a temporary solution. This is now Everton for the foreseeable future imo.

Serious question, what do you think Burnley fans have found more enjoyable? Kompany building a what looks like a proper modern football team this season and dominating the championship, or being the laughing stock of the premier league for years and years under this dinosaur. Under Dyche they were THAT team where u genuinely wonder if staying in the prem was even worth it for the fans.

Just hope he has no say in transfers.
He writes who he wants on a piece of paper and gives it to Kopite Kev. Kev checks his extensive dosier of potential signings then passes it to Billy Liar. Billy phones all and sundry telling them we'll be signing him before passing it up the chain to Mad Farhad. Farhad then asks uncle Uzzie for an advance on his pocket money. Meanwhile, Spurs sign Dyche's target.
