Been out all day and they've still not announced it. Been signing autographs and all sorts outside finch farm.

Take the piss every single time. Indicative of the club as a whole.

What do you mean? Everyone and their dog knows he’s our manager, the only people that haven’t communicated it are the club themselves. The “benefit” is that the club actually relays some good news to its fanbase while not looking like the most amateur, dog slow outfit in the football world.
But it's not good news. It's Sean Dyche.

Everyone knows he is our manager.

What difference will it make when it's officially annouched?? Should i be happier? Do we get additional points from it?

They most likely wait to also announce a ‘price’ new 3rd rate player rotting away on some bench at a shady club, on loan or worse, bought on 4 years 60k a week and present it as Jesus Come Again like Delle Ali and vd beek and how the board ‘knows how faithfull the fans are’ and yada yada yada. Then said player will claim to have come ‘because of Dyche and whatta manager he is’ etc. Etc.

To be fair the media team has advised dealying the announcement until the deals for Andre Gray & Jeff Hendrick are over the line and then the photo opps for the announcement have a real impact with Dychey flanked by Grayo & Henners.

Plenty of more things to be worried about at our club than an official statement confirming what we all know.

My guess is they are holding back to maybe do it with a new signing or signings.

Why do that?

Would it give us points?

For me the question is why things take an absolute eternity at the club. Whether it's sacking a manager, signing a player, or hiring a manager. They lose the narrative everytime.

Arse. Elbow.

How do you think it makes our negotiations with players or agents look when Sean Dyche in on the other end of the phone despite the fact that no one has confirmed that he’s our manager.

There is literally no upside to not announcing it, I’m actually finding this bizarre that you’d think that way? Should we just not say anything and rock up against Arsenal and say “oh yeah forgot to mention, Dyche is our manager lads, he signed weeks ago”.

The deal is done, we don’t need some poxy pictures or a videos, a simple statement saying “Everton are delighted to announce Sean Dyche as our new manager on a 2.5 year deal.”, that’s literally all they have to do and it doesn’t make the club look like a total an utter circus in the media like everything else has in the past 3 weeks.

Yes mate because Everton are absolutely stupid enough to go under as a business without the rules being in place to try and stop us. The idea behind FFP (or what it’s pitched as anyway) is to stop scenarios like Portsmouth, Bolton, Leeds etc happening.

Oh Everton do. But FFP doesnt actually do the above.

My point is, we shouldn't require it.
