2022/23 Sean Dyche

Arsenal and Liverpool on the horizon so he won't even get the new manager bounce. The problem for Dyche is he doesn't know how bad these players are yet. He's got it all to find out. Lucky him.

Normally I'd agree mate but it's a tall order. Lampard has left us in a terrible position and the board have just made that worse. We were joint bottom at the half way point of the season, not many teams have historically survived that. I believe we've a chance to do that with Dyche but if he somehow can't I think he deserves a chance to take us back up as none of this is his fault.
He cant fix this. He knew it. Not without signings. That's why it's my hunch he's here for a big drink to front this up for the board and owner.

I try to remain respectful of all people I deal with including the intellectually immobile, so I will say I say this….yes this is the Sean Dych thread which you saw fit to respond to a previous poster….I was merely responding to you….would have been a bit weird to respond to a point you make in this thread, in another thread, no?

In terms of your ‘FA Cup Final’ in an eighteen year period, please check the Everton honours list and let me know if that period of time upholds our proud tradition. If….you know……your history. It really is an absurd stance you are taking…….by the way Moshiri is also a joke, but as incompetent as he is….at least he tried. in terms of physical infrastructure improvements at Goodison

PJ - Park End
BK - Blue Gravel
FM - New Stadium
Sorry just realised - this was meant to be a response to @4737carlin

Possibly mate. But what then after that if it comes to that? We've still the same owner and board and most fans will be blaming them not Dyche. Unless Moshiri sells before then of course (which I have already speculated is the case in here) hence no reinvestment.

He has two games to watch our players and get ready for that run of Leeds, Villa and Forest, we need about 7 from them, mainly Forest and Leeds we have to win, if all we do over the next two games is get ready for them all take that

Yes. It's that simple.

I think I;m on safe ground stating that Dyche has been privvy to the no deals we saw today when he signed - because how on earth could he have signed up for this - a situation where there was almost no possibility to add to a squad as weakened as this?

Believe in him if you want. I wont. I'll treat him as one of the hierarchy - all here for a last swan song at the club's expense for the next few months.

And if anyone thinks that feller survives relegation to manage us in the Championship they need theylre head feeling. It isn't going to happen. Anyone in any postion at the club presiding over this disaster will not survive.

You are more erratic than Farhad.

He’s here because it’s the biggest job he will ever get. He has zero expectations now with the hand he has been dealt, worst case scenario he gets sacked in the summer and gets a payout or he stays and probably gets us back up.

Dyche has got to create a siege mentality in the squad now. Hes got to turn this embarrassment into emotion and anger. Get some passion on the pitch and then we will get a response from the crowd and he might just pull us out of relegation. We can get behind the manager and still show our stance against the board. I don’t think I’ve felt as low as a blue as I’ve have tonight.

Precisely this. Everyone, us especially, thinks we are gone. No flash new signings so players we have need to prove everyone wrong. Bunker mentality all the way. Young lads like Simms and Mills might not be ready but now they have to man up. We’re written off so nothing to lose. Get battered in.

Is right that is the spirit we need now. Show the players that have snubbed us and the media that have heckled us what this club is about.

Im a big Raiders fan in the NFL and I was listening to a podcast about a player who on the team that openly tanking for a better draft pick. He spoke about how the whole team knew it and knew the organization didnt care whether they won or loss and how detrimental that was for the locker room and the psyche of the players. Gotta imagine something like that will be going on when the players know the team did not thing to strengthen them for the the fight to stay up. Gotta imagine it is as demoralizing to them as it is for us. Dyche has a huge task in front of him
