As I said before, if those are the stipulated conditions from the board for an incoming manager, is everyone just supposed to turn down the job and Everton goes manager-less?
He said on camera that he knew we had to get business done.

He’s here because it’s the biggest job he will ever get. He has zero expectations now with the hand he has been dealt, worst case scenario he gets sacked in the summer and gets a payout or he stays and probably gets us back up.
No chance of that. He'd have to sell all this team and buy another one. Do you think this club;s fans will hand him three seasons here after taking us down?

Utter fantasy.

Lying on Kenwright's behalf has long been a part of this job.

Moyes admitted as much when he said that everybody knew the Arteta fee wouldn't really be available the following January.

I think the fans will let him have a stab at getting us back up if we do drop yes.

Win on Saturday Ginge and you're 14th

It's not the impossible job
It is now mate.

We had this window to dig us out of this mess. Because even if by some miracle he gets more goals out of that lot and wins a few quick games, the lack of depth to the squad and the inevitable injuries we'll get will drag us right back into the relegation zone again.

This is done and dusted. Anyone with a bit of sense knows it too.

We're relegated.

Not done and dusted until the numbers say so, D, and they don't say so just yet

How can you be the manager there and not know we'd be signing no one?

There was nothing there to spend. He had to know that.
I think his calls for unity throughout the club go out the window now,He will still have my backing but he needs to wind his neck if he starts getting involved with backing the owner and board against the fans.
He must have known what he was letting himself in for and he still took the job. He now has to keep us up,he has 18 games if he doesn't I'd out him in the summer and replace him with a younger more modern thinking manager and start playing a more attractive style of football.
Also I would scrap the DOF it's not working for us so there is no point.

If we'd even got say Demeble in or even the kid from Coventry, I'd still be in the balance about it. Getting no one though will have a massive psychological and physical toll on that squad.

They'll know they've been left to it and weakened, and they'll know that they face a tough training regime and 18 matches they all pretty much have to stay fit for without a great deal of rotation...and they'll all know that the goals just aren't there in that front line.

This is forlorn.

I’m glad Dyche is giving the team talk and not you mate.
