We're basically relying on Gray and McNeil to play every game and Calvert-Lewin to stay fit while being run into the ground in training.

And I don't think Gray or McNeil have the quality to provide the chances Dom needs.
Yeah I mean we're most likely goosed but I do think there's a small chance.

Tell you what this is a Hugh gamble ghat DLC can stay fit.
With him missing we basically have Simms up top.
I agree I think we'll be seeing plenty of Simms
I like how we have 3 strikers and only like 2 actual wingers for a man who loves 4-4-2 and hard work.
There might be some makeshift options for the wide midfield positions. Iwobi, Vinagre and the like. Maybe Patterson and Mills.

I'm curious as to what he'll do with Doucoure and Davies position-wise. I don't think they'll be used as 6 types, so might see them operating further forward if they play at all. I vaguely remember Davies playing right mid at OT under Allardyce or Koeman and doing ok there

It's irrelevant who the manager is at Everton. There is no way any manager can succeed in this environment, and managers are not the problem at all.

Lampard, Dyche, Silva, Koeman, Sam, whoever it is doesn't matter. This board and owner have destroyed the club, and as a fanbase we need to stop pointing the finger in totally the wrong direction

It's not even a gamble, it's just certain failure. At least when you take a punt on an outsider, you have a small chance of success. This strategy has as much chance of success as entering the Grand National winner at Epsom and hoping it wins the Derby.

He will have to be creative that's for sure.
Possible as you say put one of the fullbacks out wide.
Maybe iwobi out there umtucking on as a extra in the middle?

Dyche is a cheap and easy fall guy now that Everton have accepted their fate.
Why did they spend a week talking to Bielsa? Their is no way they ever intended to take him on,they needed a patsie and Bielsa is nobody's patsie.
I believe they intended to sack Lampard weeks ago but as they had no intention of spending money in the window they dragged it on as late as they could until the end of the month.
So with 2 days to go they needed to appoint someone who was just grateful to be there.
They needed to be a free agent
Not a particularly inspiring choice as when the results are poor he would be there to take the flack.
They would need to be someone who wouldn't question the people above as they trusted them to be honourable men and not the lying, scumbags they really are
Step forward Sean Dyche
With all this in mind it nearly fell apart when Dyche insisted on a 2 and a half year and they only wanted to give him 18 months so they could sack him after 6.
This of course is pure conjecture but I suspect it is not to far from the truth.

Yeah I could imagine him playing off a striker sometimes maybe. Maybe Doucoure doing that too, getting in the box to get shots off and not having to do anything he's rubbish at like passing

I don't think, as a fanbase, we are pointing the finger in the wrong direction. There are a few that were calling Lampard a useless manager, Dyche not the right man, etc. but in the main I think the majority of the fanbase knows where the problem lies, regardless of their opinions on the manager.

As for Dyche, he will need a small miracle now. I am still in the hope that he may just get a bit more energy out of them, which will keep us in the hunt for survival. If we have a chance of staying up going into the final few weeks then anything can happen, with a bit of belief.
