…..dreadful performance, but a few positives;

- they scored from arguably two individual errors.
- despite us being poor, Pickford didn’t have lots to do & they didn’t miss a host of chances.
- Tarkowski header is 4 inches to the right, we go in at half-time 1-0 up.
- the Davies miss was so bad it was embarrassing.

We need to move on. Saturday can’t be like Southampton at home with everybody being like nervous kittens. Leeds are better than Southampton, especially in the top third. Go into it with positivity, we can get at them but we’ll have to defend better.

This is almost entirely my thoughts as well. We were bad, really bad, but the only real chances they had were of our own making. Tarkowski gave the ball away more last night than he has all season. Onana never seemed to be able to get hold of the ball, Gana was poor with the ball at his feet, and without it tbf.

My concern is that many of the mistakes were made because we were put under pressure with the press. Liverpool got in early and pressed and harried from the start. This is almost exactly what Leeds will do.

We simply have to beat Leeds, that was and still is the most important fixture of the three.

When Dyche came in we were the worst team (in terms of form) of all the clubs of all the top 5 divisions of Europe.

We all agreed it would take a miracle for him to keep us up and maintain our incredible top-flight record, especially given that his first two games were the league leaders and then the RS away. In the last few years I've been to Anfield three times and I've seen us lose by 3 goals or more on each occasion. It's just an awful ground for us right now.

All we as fans can do to save our great club is do what we end towards the end of last season - get behind our manager, get behind our team and create an incredibly hostiler atmosphere for opposition teams.

That's what the RS fans did last night.
RS fans were crap until their players did anything to spark their interest, they’re the epitome of ‘sing when you’re winning’ fans.

Did you not watch our last home game?
