We were up against one of the best squads in the world and a side that hasn't lost at home after having taken the lead for many many years.

A few weeks ago we were getting thrashed by Bournemouth.

The guy is a good manager and he will almost certainly save us, but he's not a miracle worker. It will take time for him to transform us into a decent team.

I hate this attitude of we're unable to compete with a team that's 10th in the league. You're probably right and we are that bad, but what a indictment of the club. It's not even the defeat. It's the manner of it.

Try harder mate, it’s almost to obvious

…..dreadful performance, but a few positives;

- they scored from arguably two individual errors.
- despite us being poor, Pickford didn’t have lots to do & they didn’t miss a host of chances.
- Tarkowski header is 4 inches to the right, we go in at half-time 1-0 up.
- the Davies miss was so bad it was embarrassing.

We need to move on. Saturday can’t be like Southampton at home with everybody being like nervous kittens. Leeds are better than Southampton, especially in the top third. Go into it with positivity, we can get at them but we’ll have to defend better.

Tbh Pickford hardly had anything to do and still had a brainfart, it's a skill of his at this point lol

When Dyche came in we were the worst team (in terms of form) of all the clubs of all the top 5 divisions of Europe.

We all agreed it would take a miracle for him to keep us up and maintain our incredible top-flight record, especially given that his first two games were the league leaders and then the RS away. In the last few years I've been to Anfield three times and I've seen us lose by 3 goals or more on each occasion. It's just an awful ground for us right now.

All we as fans can do to save our great club is do what we end towards the end of last season - get behind our manager, get behind our team and create an incredibly hostiler atmosphere for opposition teams.

That's what the RS fans did last night.
The miracle wont happen and the relegation will be well deserved. Years and years of work put in to make that happen!

Won’t last the season

This group of players have shown consistently that they aren’t really up for a fight.

Dyche is our only hope of getting a tune out of such a bad collective of players, so for all of you slating him you need to wake up and realise what the actual real problem is.

He’s exactly what we need in the mess we are in

However, all he has is a perma crocked centre forward and two replacements who aren’t probably even PL standard.

If he somehow galvanises this lot enough to keep them up then he’s pulled up trees.

I have lost all respect for Sean Dyche, not because he is a bad manager, not because I think he is not the best man for this club at the moment but because he took the job from our Board. He then allowed them to sell a forward when the dogs in the street knew we needed to add to our forward line, not take away from it, we cannot avoid relegation without someone to score goals. If he resigned today he would go up in my estimation, by beating Arsenal he provided cover for the Owner and Board. What sort of Evertonians are more welcome at Anfield than they are at Goodison? Our current Board!!!!
