I am curious why you think you're right and thousands of Leeds fans who have watched him manage their side much more closely than you are wrong.

Is it just a natural arrogance, or have you worked hard to cultivate it?

Leeds fans that have been watching football since the 70’s are wrong, Big Oil who’s been watching it since 2014 but has a lot of FIFA Ultimate Team coins is right.

Because the results weren't matching the performances. Leeds played well and lost often. In time that evens out.

It's why Marco Silva got fired here and is good at Fulham. It might not go that way for Marsch because Saints could be career suicide.

You watched every minute of every game, did you? Like the Leeds fans did?

I ask again why you think you're more qualified than Leeds fans on this topic.

I've seen so much fluff from Evertonians down the years that I'm programmed to be cynical when people talk about their club

I think they were leggy. Doucoure looked tired at about 35 minutes which is understandable given the amount of game time he's had and the amount of running he did at Arsenal.

The whole team looked leggy - which I presume is part of a short term grind to increase fitness. It'll hurt in the short term but pay off long term.

We are desperately short of attacking options and a passer on midfield. Garner can't come back to fitness quick enough and we need to be very careful with Calvert-Lewin.

Honestly, I think Dyche had hoped to keep it tight and get a goal from set pieces. Had Tarkowski scored just before their goal the game would've been very different.

Leeds is the important game now. We put that one to bed and focus on Leeds (I suspect Dyche was anyway).
This is all true. What we saw is still disappointing.

I was hopeful because our midfield had bested theirs in the reverse fixture. Gapko and the other kid were pretty good though. Douc, Onana, and Gueye were too passive.

Most of all I thought Darwin had pace and physicality that we couldn't handle. FPL players know that he doesn't convert chances, but he's a big boy and he can haul ass. Old man Seamus looked like a pucker fish on the back of an orca trying to keep up with him. Salah evidently remembered that he's got some pace as well.

Let's take Dyche at his word - he didn't get too high after Arsenal. Let's see if he keeps their heads on straight for Leeds.

People watched Lampard week after week here and it took until this January for most to understand he was awful.
I think it was more to do with how fed up we were with the never ending cycle of chop and change managers, we gave him too much time cos we wanted him to finally hit the right note and get us moving in right direction. But no your right he is a dreadful club manager. But he is a very good fan manager, and he played that card very well.

Tho you can't forget the scum we had to suffer with before his appointment so he was always going to get more time/patience...
