He's had a cracking start to his time here so far. Based on what I've seen thus far. I'm impressed. However I'll still need to see more then a couple of wins before I'm convinced that this isn't just another false dawn from our team full of proven knobheads. I don't want Dyche to be the lastest victim of them downing tools.
6 points is good but the kind of football played, i'm sure it is not sustainable!

I bet his poo’s absolutely stink an all. Breathtaking. Proper fresh and intensely pungent. The type that lingers for ages around the house after the intense smell has dissipated
Hahaha Dyche is definitely a 'this is my time man' Far to proud to use your standard loo roll, This man goes full on Sandpaper, and relishes the occasion...😋

I don't know why it wouldn't be sustainable. It's not like it was anything special. It was just all grit and hard work. The only thing they'd have to work on to maintain that is cardio, commitment to the cause, and work ethic.
We also only have 2 midweek games between now and the end of the season. All the rest are a week break between games. Plenty of recovery time.

Hate his style of football but think I quite like him as a person based on the interviews ive watched since he joined.

I wonder if he gets us into safe position by the end of the season whether he's capable of actually taking the club to the next level of playing half-decent football (to watch) and getting results.
I actually haven’t minded the style of football so far. It’s what we needed, organisation, discipline and hard work. It’s better than allardyce as we hardly got out of our own half under him. We’ve actually created more chances in the 2 home wins than the last 2 months under Lampard. For us to play better we’re going to need better attacking players, if the style we’re playing now gets us safe till the end of the season that’s fine by me.

We are still rubbish like.
Just that we have won while being rubbish which in our world is massive improvement.
Coleman doesn’t pull a superb goal out of the hat on Saturday and it would have just been a draw between two very, very poor teams.

And if doucoure had have pulled the trigger to effect whilst one on one it would have been a goal… but seamus did score a good goal, and Doucs did fluff his lines, so we still won 1-0

& if my Dad hadn't met my Mum I wouldn't be reading this !!
Yeah and if the goalie hadn’t positioned himself atrociously Coleman doesn’t get a wonder goal.
I’m not complaining about the result just not going overboard in imagining some vast improvement in overall performance, we are still as much deserving of our current embattled position as Leeds are.

As soon as Simms found Doucoure with that wonderful pass I knew we wouldn’t score because well….Doucoure!
Having him in the team is a virtual guarantee of relegation position.

It is sustainable. All the stats underpinning the Arsenal and Leeds wind point to two deserved wins, not a shred of luck. We should’ve scored more against Arsenal, Leeds didn’t get a shot on target.

Dyche has them playing a style of football that suits them. What wasn’t sustainable was trying to play possession football out from the back under Lampard. Even when we got results earlier in the season we were heavily reliant on blocks and goalkeeping because we were shipping chances. That’s unsustainable, as we saw.

Or if Doucoure didn’t miss an absolute sitter it would have been 2-0 not to mention two efforts cleared off the line and Onana spooning a very good chance over the bar.
