We haven’t played Sunday yet, but you’ve seen our attacking options right? Tell me what is he meant to do with a striker with 1 goal all season, a striker the club recalled from a loan who isn’t ready for first team football and a main striker who is in his head about injuries?
I don’t know but bringing on Holgate in midfield at 2-0 down sends totally the wrong signal given the issues we’ve had in scoring, yes id likely give Simms a go first rather than accept a 3-0 defeat

Inherited a club that has an affinity of accumulating more defence minded players, pushing out attack minded players like Bernard, James and Gordon one way or another, a board that is spineless, a medical team without a degree for all I know that can't keep key players fit, a strikeforce that would even struggle in Championship.

Doesn’t tho does it? Sends the message that if you’re a total crab like gana you’re gonna get dragged off.

Miracles don’t happen over night.

Carbon copy of Liverpool this really. We’ve gave it a really good go, and players lacking concentration has cost us, then they’ve switched off again.

We miss a striker or we’d not be in trouble. I can’t blame Dyche for the poor hand he’s received.

Arsenal and Liverpool away shouldn’t define his tenure, it’ll be the games against Villa which will define our season.
We can't blame Dyche for the players he has at his disposal

We certainly can blame Dyche for continuing to play a striker who cannot score, while leaving the only guy in our team that can occasionally score on the bench, game after game. We are set up to counter, yet we leave our only counterattacking threat on the bench.

It's mind boggling.

We don't need sweeper strikers. We need attackers that can score

Few really strange tactical decisions:

Bringing Simms in for his first ever start at Anfield.

Giving Michael Keane his first league start of the season at the Emirates.
The Simms one was strange. Wonder if it was a kick up the ass for Maupay. Worked well if so.

Keane for me is everything I feared about Dyche. Stinks of old boys network. Easily our CB of the 6.

Then he had 4 CBs on the bench, what does that say to any youth at the club. They're not good enough or no matter what they do they aren't going to get a chance.

Happy he brought Gana off but for holgate is a mad one equally as useless as Gana never mind in midfield iwobi should
Of dropped in the middle or even Davies awful decision

I think if we see a similar bluntness in front of goal against forest then it will see the tide turn on dyche. Its like he's finishing the job he started at Burnley last season

We have no strikers. That’s on the board.

Hopefully, this is the message to Dyche to play 4-4-2. Maupay on his own is pointless.
