46 games of park the bus is not acceptable if we are going for promotion.

We let another manager take the fall for abysmal mismanagement off the field and a squad of dire football players. It was never going to work, it was misguided and it was short termism yet again.

He is not it now though, we really needed one of the continental guys who is more tactically cute and can make a squad of misfits actually perform and get results and has a track record of developing players. We needed someone who could use our meagre resources and do something with them. That was never ever going to be long ball Larry imo (and i like him) he just hasn't got that kind of a skillset.

That's the biggest criticism we could have at this point. If he doesn't realise Gray needs to start then relegation is even more likely.

No team who has been successful in that league in recent years has played percentage football. You need to win games and risk losing because you need 30 wins to go up.

We need to play front football again because we've lost our identity as a club. Relegation and playing at a far lower level is the obvious time to do it.

He has shown in the two years he got Burnley promoted that he can play more expansive football when not handicapped by having an incredibly ill-equipped squad.
