He loves the lad for some staggering reason and put him in tonight. Shock horror we concede four - again, which is what we did last time he played.

All 3 end up at Everton. Throw into the mix other players who have been relegated like doucoure.

Its not even a surprise when you break it down.

Problem is he's still finding things out about the players that we've known for a long time. I wonder if he still feels like we've got some good players here that he's keen to improve which is what he said on day 1.

gueye did make a horrific mistake, he had actually been okay up to then as the other two midfielders had but my issue isn't him going off, it's putting Holgate there.

All that did was chuck in a player who didn't know how to play the role yet it didn't change our approach at all so we were just wide open because it's a CB playing at DM for no reason.

If he wants to take Gueye off, sound, put Davies there or change the shape and chuck on Gray and put Iwobi ahead of Onana/Doucoure

Exactly , pickford, Tarkowski, doucoure , gueye, mcneil off the top of my head all been relegated along with the manager. Did thelwell get relegated with wolves ? Be interesting to see the full number of people at Everton who have been relegated

But this isn't his side. It's an assortment of garbage we've compiled over several managers. And if you actually break the game down, it's clear he got his gameplan right and he was let down by idiots.

Probably no manager gets this team playing, as I have said many times. Thats why I think changing manager was totally pointless.

Its not Dyche's fault or Lampards fault. I will continue to support Dyche even though I have big reservations because I do not believe changing manager makes the slightest difference.

At least Dyche is an actual coach. I agree it's no managers fault but having Lampard further diminished our chances, Dyche enhances it at least somewhat.

He's been hired with the possibility of relegation in mind, no doubt about that

I really don't understand anyone who sees fit to criticise him after what was the most inevitable result of the season.

I'm not criticising him on tonight though am I. I'm sayin if relegated I think he will be sacked.

I wasn't referring to you specifically on that last point but again, in his defence, every game we play, were up against a side who have shown more ambition / common sense than we have done for years. I don't know what game we can "expect" a result in. Bournemouth at Goodison maybe?

The difference between his three home games and lampards last three home games is night and day

We already had 2 good results.
Not my point though. No manager survives relegation here in my opinion.
