International break in a couple of weeks will come at a good time. Dyche has installed some good systems and structure that we were badly lacking before. 2 weeks to work with a large proportion of the squad will help.

Bottled having a go to put the game away. Not an Everton manager for me, but he's who we've got so we need to back him

He actually had a go which was the issue. You saw him shouting the fullbacks to get high and we got caught on the counter cos of it.

We'd just ran out of legs and by 70mins should've parked the bus IMO.

No idea why we weren't going for goal no 3, they were there for the taking today. Instead we ease off and invite them closer to our goal, all it took was one lapse and they scored.
And it's why we will drop. Dyche would have been fine if he had been appointed in November. But his conservatism will do for us in these tight matches. We needed the win. We got a point. It's a poor result for us in the context of the relegation fight and our need. This was a chance to win points ourselves and damage a direct rival. Beating Brentford won't do the latter. So, we've lost a chance to gain on Forest. We might beat Brentford, but they might win as well. They'll be happy to have kept us at arm's length.

Gray could barely move from an hour in. Maupay needed to come on.

How open/advanced we was, when winning away from home from 70th minute was insane.

As I said earlier, I've liked him so far but he didn't do anything to help prevent us throwing that away today.

The players on the pitch had loads of chances to score a third. So many breaks and good situations but Gray Iwobi Doucoure just had no conviction whatsoever.

Tactically all you can ask from a manager is to give a team a chance to win the game and away from home we did that, we limited them to a few shots (made from our own mistakes) and we had numerous positions from which to score and messed them up.

On the players this one for me. They’re brain dead timid cowards who do stupid things on the pitch and just half arsed everything. Weak clearances, weak tackles, underhit crosses, finishes without conviction.
