Disagree, we competed with Utd, we controlled parts of the game and for all our lack of cutting edge tried to take the initiative - only for the second, I’m not convinced there wasn’t a point to be gotten today with momentum building, but that changed the momentum, we went toe to toe. Utd have more quality, that was the difference, but they had to be on it today and they were - it’s as simple as that sometimes.

Was laughing at MOM - was Pickford and Idrissa by a mile.

Nah, we had a 15min spell in the 2nd half at 1.0 but other than that we were 2nd best. If they were more ruthless it would've been 3.0 by half time.

Because his managerial career has been spent down the bottom end of the league.

It's why he got this job.
Think you need to do some fact checking. Look at his 2012 to 2022 record with burnley and youll soon see you are making asumptions on what you think you know because he has a gravelly voice and you read the tabloids.

Some have actually turned on Dyche? Behave.
While he did get it wrong today, was anything he did there going to be right?
If he learnt a bit more about our squad and we got no injuries move onto Fulham.
Without one of there best players three points next Saturday is easily doable

Grim stuff once more. The issue I had with appointing him was our biggest issue was lack of goals. He doesn’t know how to change that, never has. I don’t know if a more progressive appointment would have provided more of an attacking threat - but if we go down it will be due to a lack of attacking threat.
How would you change it with no strikers? Not his fault the squad is thin and he hasnt had any chance to influence that yet. Give him a break!

Fulham went there 2 weeks ago and absolutely bossed them

You’re massively overplaying it. We created our own issues, everyone can see it bar you apparently
Oh yeah - what was the score?

You mean they put in a good performance and didn’t get a result! lol

Good, who wants to be like everyone else! ;)

No mate, they had a massive meltdown and lost the game themselves.

You mean they put in a good performance and didn’t get a result and here we are - back were we started! ;)

Getting a result at OT is a tough gig. Utd deserved it today! We can move the decks chairs around all we like, they’re a good team, a better team then us deserved the win and our players put in a performance - all those things can exist together.

Just not our day.

We're playing 1000 times better under Dyche, we were never going to get anything today with no attack. We've improved markedly with the same squad. He's doing a fantastic job with these players and to keep us up will be some achievement. I swear this forum is one big talk sport wind up to elicit responses from normally ice cool dudes like myself

No mate, they were controlling the game and then lost their heads and got 2 men sent off before conceding 3

I know mate i watched it - like I say it’s a tough gig going to OT and get a teasing really - you can put in a performance and still not get a result.

I think were we differ here is you think we didn’t perform so didn’t get a result, I think we performed to our limit, Utd are better and they got a result they deserved. That’s football. I don’t think we posted a poor performance at all. Southampton at home - poor. Wolves at home - poor. WHU away - poor. Today - nah.

i agree with this, they were leagues ahead of us. Until Colemans error i thought we may have been able to steal a draw. Under Lampard United would have been out of sight. We have fight in us.
