He may have got it wrong the last 2 games but had we taken our chances at 1-1 we could be talking about how he masterminded a vital victory. I'm not ready to get on dyches back yet. I feel the damage was done by the failure to get rid of lampard after Bournemouth. We would for certain be near enough safe by now if not for that. And the glaring issue with not signing a half decent striker in the last few windows.

He seems to talk a good game in lots of those podcasts and in various interviews but (even despite our limitations) I'm yet to see much evidence of it. I think the only way we stay up is going to be down to the poor performance of others rather than Dyche tactical wizardry. If we get an embargo I agree, I certainly don't think he is the guy to bring through and develop a load of youth players into the first team.
I dont think he is any good, and dont understand his tactics and selections

Ordinarily I dont want any more managers to go while this board and owner remain. But I think with relegation we get those changes at ownership level so it will be sensible to also bring in a long term manager who can coach players to play football.

Has he got any evidence of this? I remember him talking about it once, or managing a youth side, but can't seem to find any examples outside of McNeil. Playing Simms now out of necessity but doesn't strike me as a guy to inpsire a confidence in a pathway (Price).
Yeah Id be interested to see some, Burnley always seemed to go for older final payday types, never seemed that bothered about youth when you would think a club like them would be. McNeil went there from Utd at the age of 18 I think, that's it I think though.

Doucoure's suspension and Calvert-Lewin not being ready to step in yesterday could be the deciding factor when it comes to relegation, which is unfortunate for him, but I think it'll be obvious by the end of the season that he doesn't have anything to offer beyond giving us a fighting chance in this survival battle.

I have little confidence in his performance, seemed to operate like this at Burnley and they got shut. Looks like for me that we have taken on a poor operator and does not inspire faith.

That is a joke.

This team is devoid of game changers, goal scorers, pace, height in attacking areas.
We are asking him to make a cake with just water and eggs. He isn’t a miracle worker.
The only positive is that I think we we have a squad and manager that would win the championship
Pace and heart.

He hasn't coped with the Doucoure suspension very well. That XI & system that started yesterday was just a very poor call and he couldn't afford too many of those if we were to survive..
