I'm genuinely convinced that their brains turn to mush after the first 8 games. I just can't believe that manager after manager seem to make the same missteps all the time...
With dyche it's exactly like he threw his initial plan out ...no idea what he's trying to do now 🤷‍♂️

I can understand people’s opinions on whenever dyche should be our manager if we go down. I am firmly in the camp however, that the players are simply crap. A massive cull is needed. For example bar Pickford would anyone here be gutted if we sold the rest of the squad. That’s the issue, we should be able to name at least 4 or 5.

A solid away performance but at the expense of any quality or creativity in the final third. I don't think he's capable of getting us creating more chances without the defence being wide open which is worrying considering it's what we need.

95% of managers are blagging it, that's why they are always getting sacked and rehired, it's just pure randomised luck for most of them until they eventually find a club that is right for them. Dyche has already had that with Bunrley, he's now back on the 'get hired, get fired' merry-go-round' with most of the other chancers, desperately stumbling from one club to the next trying to find the next right fit.

That's my poorly thought out totally serious opinion.

I cannot believe he left Holgate on today… a really worrying oversight.
You don’t always take someone off on a yellow card, but a rash, brainless defender, who is hardly a key player, he just had to hook him.
Have to agree with you there. Normally it wouldn’t matter as it’s common for fullbacks to get booked. But today ayew had him where he wanted him. Certainly on the 70th min should have been subbed. Stupid challenge to make when on a yellow.

I'm not gonna completely right him off, however his failure to bring on subs today was ridiculous, tbf you'd have to go along time we had a manager who knew how to change games. If he'd taken off Holgate, then taken DCL off and brought on Simms who knows what could have happened. That was a winnable game against a side with nothing to play for and he effed it up.

Yep. I find it very strange that professional managers doesn't see things like this, when most of the fans would have taken him off after his yellow card

Last 3 games...just mind blowing decisions.

Is he actually just stupid, trying to get a quick pay off or...?

Totally illogical 3 games in a row.

The argument for Keane has been "he's better in the air" When most of the game is on the floor and his positional sense on long balls has always been awful...he's offered zero to the back line.

Insistence on playing Maupay.

And just because Patterson is more adventurous (which 95% of fullbacks in the prem are), he's seen as a liability defensively (95% of fullbacks are). But to argue Godfrey, Holgate, and Coleman are better substitutes is again mindboggling to me

I am a bit worried about his subs, like last week, far to late, his use of Simms, even after that Chelsea goal it seems he hasnt been trusted apart from to throw him out at Anfield and Old Trafford, but today maybe Mason played a part in what we could do. Still a decent point
