Leicester also high up there. We are too soft.
If you're into that stuff they ended the first half on an xG of 0.12 ... and finished the game on 3.06.

Have to agree - you might get a mistake or two out of coady or Mina breaks down injured again, but Keane is an accident that is going to happen. His blindspot for Keane is what really worries me.
You can`t go into your last four games, fighting for survival, with a defender that is so woefully out of form and error strewn.
Especially, when you have two fit and healthy competent centre halves on the bench, that for some reason, you just won`t play.
To the Dysche ginger balls army who are mindlessly supporting him I don't see any of you addressing the retaining of Michael keane despite being culpable for a majority of the goals and chances other teams have had besides godfrey, he is decrepit dinosaur yes hes better than Lampard because Lampard is doo doo and even alan pardew is a better manager

The Leeds fans were all wrong! This isn't an argument anymore. They fired Marsch and got way worse. This is the key for me. I think he did roll the dice, by hoping that we would continue to be in the ascendancy and would eventually take one of the chances we were creating. He effectively did take a risk, but just not the one people think he should have taken (because we didn't win, obviously if we'd lost having made subs then people would have said why on earth did he do that we were on top absolutely no need to change it etc, because that's what we do). I think it's fine to say he made the wrong call, just daft to make out like it was negligent or too risk averse or unfathomable. It was totally understandable to keep it the same precisely for the reasons you yourself have stated, but when it doesn't work of course people will question it.
I think pretty much every Leeds fan would disagree with you but i'm sure you know best.
Yeah I see 1.6That can't have been right though? They'd scored 2 from pretty close range, hit the bar and had a penalty, there's not a chance in hell they had an xG of 0.12.
I'm taking it from the screenshot that it's just before the penalty and the C-L/Vardy miss because a penalty is almost universally .76 Xg. Probably wrong anyway because Vardys goal was well over .12 aloneThat can't have been right though? They'd scored 2 from pretty close range, hit the bar and had a penalty, there's not a chance in hell they had an xG of 0.12.
xG is absolute garbage, that’s the problem. That can't have been right though? They'd scored 2 from pretty close range, hit the bar and had a penalty, there's not a chance in hell they had an xG of 0.12.
He would of had two more points yesterday if he didn't play Micheal Keane but to fully answer your question probably I'd say maybe say 6 more total which would probably guaranteed safety. Hey I get it the squad is atrocious and we lack goals but even with the quality of players we surprisingly have better ones on the bench such as mina or coady over Keane and patterson has been mediocre but is an actual fullback and less of liability than godfrey who offers nothing offensively , the game management is garbage too. Hey I feel if Dysche came in before the world cup his ultra pragmatic style would of guaranteed a safety but he needs to be more daring otherwise relegation beckonsHow many points should we have gained from the 14 games he’s had in charge ?
We got 2 decent points on both of those games and gained on our rivals. He has a very limited squad who can't score goals and defenders who can't defend yet you want him to be progressive???
He made the right call in both games. He's just not flavour of the month at the moment.
yeah, puts me firmly in the realm of 'grumpy middle aged man' but xG is pure nonsense. Just watch the bloody game. It's not complicated.xG is absolute garbage, that’s the problem.
Leicester looked like scoring every time they came forward in the first half. It doesn’t take proper account of fractional offsides, or barely-intercepted through balls or whatever.
Play school stats.
I wouldn’t mind it if there was some value to it, but there isn’t. It’s a totally flawed philosophy.yeah, puts me firmly in the realm of 'grumpy middle aged man' but xG is pure nonsense. Just watch the bloody game. It's not complicated.
Top 4 at worst. If memory serves Arsenal had the best underlying stats that year and Leicester were around Spurs and City.I wouldn’t mind it if there was some value to it, but there isn’t. It’s a totally flawed philosophy.
I’d love to know where xG would’ve had Leicester finish in their title winning season.
