I dont think its over the top to say it could be a big contribution to this club getting relegated.
Obviously cant prove either way. But i think we nick that game against leicester with keane not there.
Iwobi gave that ball away and Pickford saved the penalty from the mistake that Keane made.

No you’re wrong sorry mate. Keane has kicked 19 balls into his own net and demarai gray (with 2 open play goal contributions all season and 4 in his last 49 games) would definitely have won us the game if we’d put him on for 15 minutes. They’re just facts.

Iwobi did give the ball away, and it led to the chance - 36 year old Vardy running away comfortably from The Human Tugboat lol
Then gives a pen away.
Then gets simply outran by Vardy just about any occasion, usually a long ball.

I'd say if he was more competent at, you know, defending he'd be able to prevent at least some of this, but we know nothing because Dyche is beyond criticism and we should just be happy and clap clap clap :)

Really good column in the Echo by Michael Ball.
Mirrors everything said in here by the majority ( bar the usual wum's) ,
Calls out the injustice of players being banished after 2 poor games yet others continue to be very crap week in week out ( aka Keane & Iwobi ) and still get picked.
He also highlighted players dead on their feet after 80 mins of putting the hard graft in and were spent.
Shocking he keeps Keane in above Mina or Coady , and this will cost us in a big way.

Godfrey didn’t have the luxury of being one of his mates from Burnley, that’s why he got binned off. It was the correct decision because he’s terrible, but it just goes to show that some players are treated differently to others.
I don't think he was binned off and I'm doubtful Dysche has learned anything

From the Everton website before the game: "Sean Dyche has revealed Amadou Onana has been ill for the past couple of days, while Ben Godfrey, who misses out on the matchday squad, has a groin injury."

So be afraid my friend if he wasn't injured there's a strong chance he would of been on the that pitch stinking it up with keane in some capacity. The onana illness thing worries me too as I think garner was only starting because onana wasn't fully fit but hopefully I'm wrong.

Just read it as well.

Clearly not only what appears to be the majority of posters alarmed at such poor management.

That may well be because of his familiarity with him. I don't want to just repeat the same thing over and over but in my opinion the difference in quality between Keane and Coady is being massively overstated at the moment (this isn't a new hot take of mine, I said the same in the summer) however I don't rate Keane and never have. He clearly does offer some things that Coady doesn't (and vice versa) which may mean Dyche genuinely thinks he's the better option, or it could be that he's just someone he knows and trusts and likes and picks him for that reason. I have no idea. I would quite like him to stop picking him now regardless because he's in poor form.
Spot on. Difference in quality is largely overstated. The complaints are all because Keane is in the spotlight - easy to be an skillful player in peoples eyes when you are warming the bench. If Coady was playing each week then the conversation would just be reversed.

Think you are totally missing the point mate , Coady had 2 howler games & was rightly dropped . Keane is costing us in every game he really is a liability now , he also should be dropped.

I'm no great fan of either tbh , but points made by many are that this manager is favouring an old player of his regardless of his continuing mistakes.

FWIW I would play Mina over both of them , but Dyche has clearly shown he won't play him.

Vardy could hardly stand in the last 10 minutes, but, he was still terrifying Keane enough for Smith to decide not to substitute. Imagine a professional footballer being constantly done for pace by a 36 year old in the last half hour of a game.

Football just isn't 'fair' like that though is it? The argument is being framed as a completely false premise, because football is subjective and all managers will have players that they do and don't want to use. Lampard didn't fancy Keane, Doucoure, or Holgate and Dyche doesn't fancy Coady or Patterson, that's just how it goes. Obviously people want to make out like preferring Keane to Coady can only be down to nepotism but the more obvious reason is that they're totally different players and Keane is more the 'type' that Dyche wants in the side (he engages much much more than Coady and is much better aerially). Whether that's the right decision is another matter, but it's certainly not the unfathomable madness that people are painting it as.

Mina is the elephant in the room, he's much more the type that I can imagine Dyche liking and I agree with you that he's the best of the three anyway. In theory it's a no brainer to have him in but I don't know what his fitness or motivation levels are like so maybe it's that that's keeping him out.

No i do think coady is a better option.
Bit i think we've done this to death now. And its pointless. Dyche isnt dropping his boy.
Dyche was litterally sick of coady, clapping his hands and over enthusiastically repeating every instruction he said
