I have a bit of respect for anyone taking on this job at the minute. Because if you take Everton down, you aren't getting another top flight job.
He will take Everton down. We'll get stuck with his crap football and crap players we can't shift in the Championship.

It's so grim. Definitely the lowest I've ever felt as an Evertonian. Also sad to see how many people are delighted by the continuation of the appallingly low standards set for thos club.

Dyche played a style of football based on the resources he had on and off the field. And at times, particularly in the championship it was far better on the eye than he gets credit for. If he had the tools he would evolve his style of play.

He was instrumental in us getting two promotions with good football with the likes of Ings and Trippier. And when he had the money signed good footballers in cornet, defour, barton.

The likes of Keane, Tarkowski and even McNeil were a million miles away from what you’ve seen at Everton.

He would be the perfect short and long term man for the job.

Just not convinced the Everton fan base realise the gravity of the situation they’re in.

Always felt like bielsa had to be persuaded to do us a favour - Dyche will give everything for this job and see it as an amazing opportunity. With our current squad as well I think he is the best choice out of the two right now. Hopefully he will prove a lot of us wrong and get us back to basics, there are clear similarities with the job he did at Burnley that Moyes did at Preston - did better tbh.

Mcneill, Tarkowski, Dyche...we have turned into Burnley mind...

For once let's just all back him regardless whether we want him or not, back the players regardless if we want them or not and let's see where we end up.
For once?

Once it’s game day EVERY manager has been backed from the start of their tenure with the exception of Benitez who was met with indifference from those in the ground

It’s only online people go over the top, he’ll get the same respect and applause Allardyce did as he’s here to do a job

He’ll be turned on soon enough if he can’t do the job though of course

He could surprise everyone. Eddie Howe at Bournemouth was seen as a manager who only played pretty football and couldn’t organise a defence yet has built the meanest one in the PL this season with Newcastle. At least he is a legitimate coach which Lampard clearly wasn’t.
