Well they have spent like over 50 mil, which for Brighton especially is a lot.

Though it's obviously offset by them selling players at a massive profit, of course.

It's a similar thing with Liverpool. Their "net" spend might be good because they can offset it with Coutinho-like sales, but don't let anyone tell you they don't spend serious money on players.
The whole club at Brighton seems to be run on a very very different philosophy that we have seen at ours, great academy set up, DOF who actually is allowed to DOF seen really by the fact that when Potter left and he was replaced it was virtually seamless, buying in future talent, look who they have compared to who we have and even at £50 million which to them is probably a lot they will recoup that perhaps with 2 sales if they go down that route at end of this season.

To my original point though as I have veered somewhat, We cant throw "spent big money" at anyone else when our Glass House has more crack than Huyton on a Saturday night!

brighton? I looked at that last year. They spent 72m one year when potter was there. On ten players. Works out at about 7m a player. Isnt their record signing still Mwepu for 20m? Thats still not anything for a prem club these days as a record signing.

Id say they've bought well. Not expensively.

We’re that far behind the curve I reckon they’re still running windows XP

I don't think he was having a go at them though was he? Seemed more like just like a generic press conference answer to a question than a dig.

Says the stats back him up on not making subs.

Well Sean, the stats also show we win twice as many games with Mina in the team than without.

They also show that in the games he's managed we've averaged twice as many goals conceded with Keane than with Coady.

He then uses the excuse of Mina's lack of game time to not play him while giving Keane 10 back to back starts after getting 0 minutes in the league before hand.

Hes a colossal hypocrite.

Lampard got a lot of things wrong but telling Michael Keane that he was a load of crap who's getting nowhere near the first team was not one of them.

Nah defo not having a go just a weird thing to come out with considering our "Affairs" lol
Not the sharpest tool in the bag is Sean!
I reckon he goes hme each night looks in the mirror and says
"Im actually managing a Prem Football Club, how the F did that happen"
Maybe I'm being unkind to him?
