Same team starts tomoz and I'm back aboard the Dyche train. Nice to see that despite personal loyalties he will drop any player if not performing

Jury’s still out for me as he took his time in dropping Keane, Mina plays against Leicester we win that game.Same team starts tomoz and I'm back aboard the Dyche train. Nice to see that despite personal loyalties he will drop any player if not performing
I must live in that same parallel universe , I still start off believing we’ll win every game we play until the reality kicks in after about two minutes, and most of the time it’s a lot less!My dad says we should have got Dyche at the time we got Benitez, and all would have been well.

Good point about Maupay. Would prefer Simms getting 10 minutes. I know recency bias is a thing but I can't remember a more pointless player than him. Maybe he trains better than Simms..Jury’s still out for me as he took his time in dropping Keane, Mina plays against Leicester we win that game.
Also why persist in putting Maupay on he is the worst player I have ever seen play for Everton and I have seen Alan Biley
I think the big thing is that we had all of our east fixtures before he arrived. We squandered most of our home games against the relegation rivals with lampardI actually think he’s a load better than the team position is maybe showing. Are any of those teams in and around us winning 5-1 at Brighton? Coming back against Spurs being a man down (and we absolutely put the pedal down in that period even before Moura got a red). We could have been 4 up in the first half against Arsenal who were top of the league at the time.
They’re not normal things for a team low on confidence near the bottom of the league. They don’t just happen because we ‘had a go’ or ‘Spurs were crap’ or ‘Brighton were tired’. They happen because of Dyche’s tactical set up and game plan. We’ve had two of our best away performances in ages in the last two games with some of the worst players we’ve had in the PL.
He’s now averaging over a point per game with THIS group of players (would probably be far higher if he’d ditched Keane earlier). Over a full season that’s 40 points and that’s without having a capable striking option for most of the season.
Now imagine we give him a full preseason, get someone to keep Keane out the team, get him some decent attacking players to compliment and replace Calvert Lewin when he’s out. Do you think he has us anywhere near relegation trouble? No.
He’s revitalised McNeill, he’s got Doucoure in his best position, he’s got Calvert Lewin fully fit playing probably the most compete game I’ve seen since his spell under Ancelotti, Garner is playing well, Pickford is playing well, Tarkowski is playing well, he’s reintegrating Patterson. Players are improving under him. Set piece defence seems to have improved, we’re looking more dangerous on offensive set pieces too.
He’s also not scared to make big decisions (regardless of whether they work out). He moved Iwobi out wide, dropped Coady, benched Gray, dropped Onana our marquee signing, now he’s dropped Keane.
I just think we need to back him in the summer to get rid of who he wants out and get in extra firepower because I think he could actually do a very good job for us and we could see similar wins to what we saw at Brighton a bit more regularly.
Yes- leaving Lampard I’m charge after the 2 appalling Bournemouth games before the World Cup break was a terrible mistake. That run of performances v Wolves, Southampton, Brighton, West Ham was appalling.I think the big thing is that we had all of our east fixtures before he arrived. We squandered most of our home games against the relegation rivals with lampard
Well, he did mention his lawn needs mowing. Plus the weeds are starting to become a problem, along with his hedge that needs a trim.Oh good, we’ve stepped back into “these players can do a job for him next season” realm
Doubt it we can't afford him a couple more.games he costs 10 millionDyche will be chomping at the bit to get Dele Alli firing again.
He will at least give it a go - his man management skill is what every past player of his says what stands him out from other managers
Be a tall order but he could be back playing in that spot that Doucoure is playing in rn as a sort of ‘ball winning number 10’
No we are not paying Spurs £10m for the joker.Dyche will be chomping at the bit to get Dele Alli firing again.

Hard to blame him. I'd live in 1984 forever if I could, too.My dad says we should have got Dyche at the time we got Benitez, and all would have been well.

Yes but he shouldn’t have any personal loyalties he’s here to get results not give crap players game time just cause he knows them previous it was 6 years since he’d worked with Keane and he’s declined massively to the player dyche thought he was. While all along our best CB was staying fit and available for selection but wasn’t getting in.Same team starts tomoz and I'm back aboard the Dyche train. He started taking me to Goodison start of the 87-88 season. We were reigning champions then, "what could go wrong", he thought.Hard to blame him. I'd live in 1984 forever if I could, too.
