If we go down surely we have to move on from him
I think we should move on from him at the end of the season regardless of what happens tbh. Even if he keeps us up he has done poorly overall. Board needs clearing out first and then the replacements need to decide the direction and what Manager can take them there. Would be very surprised if they decided that would be this fella.

Totally agree he’s been poor

I’ve seen no evidence that the occasional result picked up has been down to his input, let alone any discernible consistent approach in quality of performance week to week

If we sack Dyche we will have over 250k a week tied up in managers that currently aren't connected to the club next season.

Wouldn't McNeil at left back with Gray wide left have been the obvious move today, Holgate is an erratic central defender who is weak in the air, a poor right back and an absolutely terrible option at left back. It was difficult to know if it was a back 4 or a back 5 at times he was so narrow. Also, why does Maupay continue to get time on the pitch?

Probably yeah but guessing he wanted McNeil to be our forward outlet like last week.
Plus has he ever played a game as an orthodox left back? I presume our defenders all do drills on keeping the line straight etc - stuff McNeil won’t be part of but Holgate will.
