Yeah, the thing was, McNeill had to fill in for Holgate for most of the game. This nullified his effectiveness going forward. Holgate is a terrible defender and Gray on instead of Holgate with McNeill playing as left back would have been a much better solutionProbably yeah but guessing he wanted McNeil to be our forward outlet like last week.
Plus has he ever played a game as an orthodox left back? I presume our defenders all do drills on keeping the line straight etc - stuff McNeil won’t be part of but Holgate will.
If we go down surely we have to move on from him
It doesn't matter what happens these should be his last two matches
Nathan Jones - 1.07points per game
Sean Dyche - 1.06 points per game
Nathan Jones for next season then?Nathan Jones - 1.07points per game
Sean Dyche - 1.06 points per game
It shows how bad we are defensively down the left, that moving our best creative force to defence is our best option.Yeah, the thing was, McNeill had to fill in for Holgate for most of the game. Yeah definitely. It shows how bad we are defensively down the left
And that's not Dyche's faultIt shows how bad we are defensively down the left, that moving our best creative force to defence is our best option.
