2022/23 Sean Dyche

Today is the day I switched from being neutral on Dyche to believing he's not got the stones to manage us.

I don't think we can afford to sack any more managers sadly, but his lack of dynamism with subs and his over reliance and blatant bias towards a select few has broke me today. to the point where I don't think 6 of our players had a clue what their roles were in the team/formation from about 30 mins to the end of the game.
This all day long

He doesn't though.

Dyche thought that. I thought that based on his appearence.

Sunderland fans joked his first touch was like he was wearing timberlands and how for a big lad he has no presence.

From what I've seen of him, Chelsea goal aside he offered absolutely nothing either so excuse me for not losing the plot over not bringing him on.

He could go on an be a decent player but I don't think he's a number 9 and/or target man many think he could be.
Sunderland fans can joke all they want, until they’ve witnessed Neal Maupay pretend to be a top flight footballer then their opinions mean little to me

Maupay is on par with Brett Angell as one of the worst strikers I’ve witnessed

Sky having Forrest deservedly ahead. 19% possession. 2 shots to Arsenals 6. 46 successful passes to Arsenals 328.

Hate the thought of Forrest being safe. Fair play to them like, but it’s all so cringey.

Doesn't mean Simms, is.

Maupay was scoring 25+/championship player of the year and signing for Brighton for £20m at Simms age.

Not convinced the melt down over not bringing Simms on is worth it.

To me Simms also doesn't look like a target man/number 9 either. In the same way Maupay isnt.
Don't believe Simms will bounce off defenders like Maupay does. Simms comes on scores and gets us a point against Chelsea and not seen again really, goals apparently breeds confidence bread and butter for any striker. Can see the logic on the shouts about him over Maupay.

Simms is Dyches version of "just play Dobbin ffs Benitez".

Both utter pish Championship players - hence why they dont get picked.
Hmmm, I suppose you could say Maupay is Dyche's version of 'ffs why is that awful Venezuelan Donkey playing again?'. Maupay is as ineffectual as Rondon
Was. I've no idea if Simms is any good, but, regardless of how many goals Maupay scored when he was a youngster in the championship, we've seen enough of him now to know that he is absolutely terrible now.

Right let’s get this right, Lampard should have gone earlier than he did, anyone defending him, myself included, were wrong dead wrong to say he should have stayed post World Cup

Dyche probably isn’t the right choice either, I don’t know any manager who would play a centre back in 3 different positions in one game or switch players about in confusing manner. Add to the fact he refused to give Mina game time until recently, refused to use Vinagre until he wound up injured at a time he would have been, persisting with Maupay, didn’t make a sub at Leicester which cost us a chance of a win which could have put us 2 points better off tonight

Hes only got a selected few that can play any sort of football. The squad is so limited its beyond a joke, with player having to playbout of position. Thats not his fault. Who are these magic subs he can make to change a games?

If he'd have made a positive change in the Leicester game, when they were there for the taking, we could have an extra 2 points now.

He's a crap gaffer, but he's the level we are at now. I do think he needs to go if we go down.
Oh yer, lets get rid of another manager who has had less than half a season with no transfer window. God its unbelievable! The board laugh in our face every time, yes give them the easy out and blame a manager whos been here 5 minutes sack him and get in some dosser who will still do nothing with that squad.

Can I want him sacked for choosing Maupay/Keane as striker over Simms?

Really he's just a bad manager and I want him sacked for that. All the arguing over why Burnley had to do what they do was never going to prove correct. He is who he showed he was for the last decade.
Simms is also not good enough.
What would you have done differently mate?

He was forced into 2 subs.

If you're saying sack him because he didn't bring any of these on - then get in the bin;

Doesnt matter what you say, some just have never liked him. Desperate to jump on him for any poor performance and no credit for the food one Im past caring, if people think the constant choping and changing will help then let them get on with it. Best way to give the board the easy route out every time.
