He's done a very good job if people like him or not. No one will ever agree with the starting 11 or his subs, as that is just the way people are. We are in the top 10 for shots, shots on target. top 4 for been one of the best defences. we have not won games we should have due to so many missed chances. if all those could come together we would be doing even better than where we should actually be without the deduction, plus we none stop have Injuries.

All this thing about he's not here long term, which he may not be, who knows, but who ever is here long term. makes no difference as people want a so called better name, that not long later is moaned about for picking same players, doing tactics they dont agree with, and then in the end everyone near enough wants gone.

The last few years at this stage we have just sacked a manager whilst in freefall; the fact that sacking him hasn't really cropped up by and large speaks volumes.

It must be kept in peoples mind that we are ten points better off than the league table shows, that is a marked improvement on the last few seasons. he has earned the right to try and rebuild in my opinion, I just hope this punishment gets overturned.

I reckon this subconsciously feeds into some peoples opinions of Dyche. I reckon there would be less negativity around him if we were in our 'real' league position.

He’s done what he was supposed to do however he’s massively limited and won’t be taking us further than where we currently are. His in game management is abysmal and I think we’re at risk of completely burning the team out. Definitely will need some points back from the deduction to stay up IMO

This season he has done more than what majority fans would have expected. 29pts at this stage? We all would have signed up for it no matter how we got them

Let's just concentrate on this season and survive it. Never mind past or future seasons.
If we survive this season then next season will be a struggle too. We won’t be able to strengthen and even though a few wages will be off the books, we start paying for Beto and chermiti in next seasons accounts. Others likely to have some ability to strengthen and promoted teams ne a lot stronger than relegated ones.

he is the right man for me, get us into BMD as a prem league team and he has certainly earned the right to rebuild

Disagree - you're ignoring our record after going ahead in games.

We've only won 2 points after going behind this season - I think only Burnley and Sheff Utd are the same/worse as us in that regard- so I agree we struggle to turn games around after conceding first.

But of the 11 games we've taken the lead, we've gone on to win 8. We're good at protecting a lead when we get it - that requires in game management.

If we had Simeone and had the same 29pts total this season (ignoring the 10pts) playing the same way then i think most would be happy.

The players are the ones who arent effective at scoring. His tactics show us to be solid at the back but point the finger at our forwards not hitting a barn door.

Give him a couple of goalscorers and we'd be higher than our real position in 12th.

is he limited or are his playing staff options limited? Time will tell.

And every team at the bottom could say the same, more to do with players we commit forward from open play.
And only looking threatening from set pieces.

And comparing simeone with dyche 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that’s a belter. One has won trophies competing with 2 of the biggest clubs on the planet. His remit isn’t to make sure Athletico stay in the league

I can't think of a single manager that could've walked into this mess, both on and off the pitch and had us grinding out the results we are. You can moan about his subs, you can moan about his style of play, you can moan that he voted Brexit (probably) but you cannot moan that he's giving us everything he can.

I would've walked away upon hearing about the mess. He's taken it on and part of me believes he genuinely loves such a challenge. Imagine if he could build a team and push us further.

Take us further??

How about we focus on staying where we are for a bit first? (Without the points deduction obviously).

No money, no structure at the club, barely any players and evidently some unrealistic fans. I'm sure they will be beating the door down to come here and take us further!
