Yeah, I'm not basing my opinion entirely on the quote from Braithwaite. It just adds to my sense that he's not doing much.
As with anything, you bring to the table what's going on in your own head and frame things from that perspective.
I'm unimpressed with the guy - and I guess looking for reasons he's not getting the best out of these players.
Fair enough mate, you live and die by your opinion.
Personally, i think the team is limited, i think it has to be the heal the wounds financially at the club, it translates onto the pitch, with a lot of teams just having better quality and more depth then us. In a normal season hes done an incredible job. I think hes done an incredible job anyway, but if he keeps us up with the points deduction the dude, is dropping big managerial shapes with what he has had to work with.
Our winning form isnt great, we've finished our worst block of games of the season just gone since Xmas, with injuries, a jadeded squad, a massive lack of depth and lads missing. We've picked up some important points and results in that time. And only been beaten by Spurs, City twice, Utd and Wolves was the only disappointing result and performance to my mind - we were sucker punched by WHU - that happens.
I look at two things, putting in competitive performances - we are doing that and have lads improved and giving it their all - i see that to.
I said a realistic expectation at the start of the season was - we were competing in a league of the bottom 10, without the points deduction we are sitting nicely in that and a year of progress on the one before, with it we are in the fight of our lives, but i have total faith that if anyone can get us out of it its this manager as hes already proven he can clock 31 points in this league this season and he wont melt within the adversity we are heading into.
