2023/24 Sean Dyche

I like Dyche BUT if we fail against Sheff U AND struggle against Doncaster I think he should be sacked whether it's a Moshiri knee jerk or not this is NOT acceptable.
This I agree with.

I think there are lots of mitigating factors for the bad start - nothing has changed, what were people expecting exactly? - but the three promoted clubs are, basically, the only three we can expect to finish above. If we can't beat them then there is no point persevering with the board's latest mudguard. Just be sure to remember that the next sucker that comes in is simply another variety of mudguard - a shinier one - and nothing will change until we have a new board and new owner.

No other manger could do any better with what we have got, it's rotten to the core this club, the earlier we get relagated the better it will be for everyone, cba with the seasons like the last two,

Have to say more matches than goals is a shocking stat.
Exactly and anyone expecting things to change if more players come in just need to look at this man's entire history. It is absolutely shocking. He is doing exactly as he has always done no matter what players he had.

You can’t build anything up with this board, though. Dyche is mere collateral damage in their game of survival. They’ll leave him fulfil his role as their mudguard for as long as possible. Then, rinse and repeat.

We've still spent money so we should be doing better. People blame the board, blame the manager, blame the players, but it's a collective. We've allowed a round robin of it's his or their fault and someone takes the fall be it Walsh, Brands or our countless managers, DBB, but on it continues. Until that cycle stops we will get nowhere.

Someone needs to eject the mercenaries and get a good spirit back. I feel players like McNeil and Harrison are crucial to that. If it wasn't for DCL getting clattered last weekend we probably win that. Fine lines in sport, but all we have is panic, hysteria which leads to bad decisions which promotes an unstable club and on we go getting worse not better. People have to start holding their nerve.

People digging out Dyche.

His job is to set the team up to create more clear cut chances than the opposition; he did that in both the Fulham game and today.

He also showed flexibility in player selection; rightfully dropping Keane & Maupay, opting for Branthwaite & Dobbin (and even later on, Chermiti & Cannon from the bench ahead of Maupay).

Played 3, lost 3, goals scored 0. It’s hard to stay positive. But we’re looking much better under Dyche than we ever did under Lampard.

And at the risk of sounding like a broken record: if we’d have signed a striker before the season, we’d be sitting on 6 points now.
