So basically going even more defensive. Both full
Backs offer nothing. At least go Patterson and McNeil as wing backs
Aye. Patterson and McNeill as full backs…wouldn’t be against that.

Think it’s a formation that could see us push a bit higher potentially. We looked good v Burnley and Villa away playing it. Think we need to do something different and don’t really have the players to change much in this current formation.

You have a striker who is good in the air and the wingers are playing within the line of the 6 yard box with full backs who don't get past the halfway line.

The defensive record is great, I'll give him that but when that's all you're interested in what are we doing here?

He's the luckiest Everton manager of all time. Never in the history of the Blues has a manager been able to get away with this alehouse football and not registering a league win in three and a half months. I honestly believe he is totally out of his depth. His plan A has been sussed and there is no plan B. Fortunately for him, Moshiri has no interest in the club now and even less interest in paying out the compensation to Dyche and his team.

Dyche is totally out of ideas but will continue to give lame excuses and interpret stats in a way to make it seem like we are just unlucky. He will be under no illusion that his contract will be renewed, but, he will relegate us in the meantime if new owners don't come in soon and give him the bums rush

At least hes got us hard to beat
For a team that has not been able to score goals going on 3 seasons, not sure what tactics are to be employed to improve a lot that is clearly just not good enough to score regularly. On the flip side, Dyche has done a fine job sorting a leaky defense and abset the stupidity that is the Premier League's PSR farce the club should be sat 14th.

Which, TBF, is not a bad return given the club has not been able to spend money for a couple of years.

Our defensive record was decent... so far since Christmas we've been poor defensively. Its at the stage now like under Lampard, where the second we go 1-0 down, it looks like game over.

I agree with everything else but I'd be more concerned if Mosh was still making decisions. Right now we have about 5 parties who could make a fairly legitimate claim to 'running' the club. All of which could make the argument that they should be the ones to make the final say on a manager. Until that's sorted out he's going nowhere
