Has always been a poor manager. Don't know why so many have convinced themselves otherwise. People were fapping over his coaches' voice video, which I actually found embarrassing to watch, as they were just Sunday League tactics he was detailing, just using some technical vocabulary.

Yes, the squad is poor, but player for player any half decent manager should be able to get between 13th and 15th with this squad. Keep saying it: the points deduction has only really affected us by making him take the shackles off for a few games because we needed to claw back points. We have reverted to being poor since.

He limits players and makes them worse - DCL and Onana are two prime examples. Onana is a really good player and I feel like he would be flying under a better manager.

He can't manage a squad - flogging the same players and not using subs or rotation and then wondering why they are all burnt out at the end of the season. They look totally goosed for the run-in.

No work on patterns of play, passing etc.

He cannot manage games. His in-game management is the worst I have ever seen - and we've had some awful managers for that.

He's been here over a year and I think (tell me if I've missed one) that we have actually only played well against Arsenal and Brighton last season. Bournemouth (at home), Newcastle at home and Villa away in the cup this season. Yes, we won a few more games than that, but I'm talking about actually good performances.

He is an absolute joke of a manager. Can't believe that there are some who still defend him.
You can lock the thread after this, nothing more needs saying on the subject, utterly nailed it.

As ive said, the whole squad has regressed at an alarming rate, everybody plays in slow motion, hes about as motivating as a fart in a lift.

I understand people saying we can't afford to sack him but it'll be cheaper than relegation surely
I was at that point like 1 month ago, but a manager change becomes more and more inevitable.

Relegation would be the worst thing to happen financially, even with some of the parachute payment, never could cover the interests of 50m alone + squad costs etc and then to have a squad capable of coming up without operating on a loss.

For me he did a good enough job in 2023, given the task he had when coming in. If we held the level of results from January till Christmas, the manager wouldn't be main focus till 2025. It was 34 games and 47 points till then.

But we completely fell of in the last 3 months. No manager in the world should survive that.

I think you missed the point, the manager is not the only issue

Whilst your point has merit because the football club itself isn't functioning and hasn't been functioning particularly well for a number of years, I think Dyche
cannot be excused because of this. We can't not replace Dyche just because we've sacked managers before him. Regretfully we can't sack Dyche because there's
no one suitable really to replace him and we can't sack Dyche because there's no one at the club to sack him. It's a circle of sh 💩

Sacking managers does come at a cost though both financially and on the playing side. While the club remains in limbo all we can do is voice our concerns.

At some point people will realise that the club consistently hiring crap managers is the problem. Not that we keep sacking them.

A large enough proportion of the fan base wanted Dyche that it is obvious that this problem permeates far beyond the board room/owner.

Static pedestrian too many hiding. Clean sheets have disappeared at remarkable rate, which was the only football wise issue we could and should manage... Can't see any other management with this squad in the situation we are in getting us in a better position.
No other management team can do better than no wins in 12, don't be ridiculous

The problem is that ever since Martinez got sacked we have just brought in bad managers who only look good compared to worse managers. Koemann was awful, but who knows who was making decisions on signings, Allardyce was 100 times better than Dyche. Marco Silva was another ridiculous appointment. Ancelotti was overrated, Benitez appalling appointment, Lampard was terrible appointment. Then we have this ginger nugget who most people have given him a chance but see he's not gonna change. Anyone with half a brain cell would see playing McNeil on left is pointless, he just goes backwards, rather than turning in, Harrison constantly waits for opposition players to get back, rather than going forwards. His subs are insane, last season Palace not taking Holgate off, then putting Maupay on instead of Simms when your playing a big physical side, and your only way of scoring is a set piece. Dyche isn't the worst culprit but he is part of the problem with his insistence of going out not to lose. On here morons were defending him against Spurs at home, he should of made subs earlier and we could of won. Why is Chermiti on the bench? He's like a 13 year old on FIFA, he'll play DCL for the Newcastle match, with Godfrey as well, plus Harrison and McNeil, foolishly thinking it's gonna be different this time. Dyche is a bad sausage and he's tactically inept.
