2023/24 Sean Dyche

How did he? He made 3 like for like subs which did nothing to affect the game, the fact we got a lucky penalty from nothing doesn’t change that.
I agree in the main. The subs that he brought on were better players (bar onana). The big difference for me was after the Garner chat with Mykolenko after the sub. Next thing Mykolenko is over the halfway line, in the box etc. Almost like Dyche took the handbrake off everyone and they actually attacked. The negative tactics are killing us and up there with n the FSW and Fat Sam.

Almost impossible to argue against that at this stage. They're definitely playing under instruction to keep it tight and pump it long. You can see its crippling them by comparing how we play at times when we're behind.

He might only keep us up based on the 3 relegated teams not reaching 30 points!!

It’s probably the easiest season to stay up because of the quality of the bottom 4/5 teams! He’s made us worse than last season imo

Certainly true, I can't see how any of Luton, Burnley or Sheff Utd stay up.

But to counter that, assuming we get another points deduction (lets go with 3-4 points for arguments sake) its an achievement to keep a side up with 9-10 points knocked off your season tally.

Throw in the uncertainty around the club regarding the ownership, no full time board in place, general apathy around the place you have to give him credit for working under probably the most difficult circumstances of any manager in the league.

Has certainly not lost the dressing room.

Should have gotten at least a point at Bournemouth and a decent point away at Newcastle.

He's paid to keep us in the league and thats what he's on course to do.
Some belief is all that we're missing, let's hope this can provide some kind of spring board.
Good Point in the end.

When you have players that can't pass 5 yards to each other you've got a very hard task on your hands.

They all play us so all have a massive chance of staying up. Can’t see how we win a game

We were much better from 60 minutes on.

I know you love to hold and broadcast a strongly-held opinion. But It’s okay to concede a millimetre once in a while.

Nuance won’t destroy your world view.

He’s still not got what it takes to manage this football club, but I’m giving him credit for tonight.

I can’t be arsed with him puffing his chest out in the press conference making out that was a great point against a team that finished the game with Paul Dummett on the football pitch.
We created nothing for about 90% of the game and looked like a sunday league outfit - arsed about Paul Dummett, we were shocking for half the game and fluked a pen.
