The only time ive seen that in 12months is yesterday. 2nd half Gana finally came deeper.

While he didnt actually 'sit' as an 'anchor' midfielder it was far more effective than wandering around following the ball and leaving a huge gap in all the games he plays.

This Dyche bloke doesnt seem to know how to setup a defence or a midfield. Ive not seen anything like it. Its meant to be his strength.
This. Use Gana as he’s meant to be used. Let Doucs and Onana join the press. They should have plenty for it. Gana sitting more at least brings a little bit of balance/cover. Yesterday and Villa, the massive gaps between our back line and midfield were taken advantage of

23.8%, second lowest if any permanent manager behind Walker
In Dyche 22 Premier League games....

Scored 21 0.95 goals per game
conceded 37 1.68 goals per game (And looks to be continuing this season)
Average Goal Difference per game is -0.73, that is worst of all managers including Mike Walker

Problem is that what gana does, not many can do it (putting pressure on the opponents)...doucs can do it but not as good at it as gana. Not sure onana has the engine to do it...

Would it surprise you? When he finally gets sacked, and it will happen, I do wonder what will come to light after it. As useless as Lampard ended up, lots of players speak really well about him. I doubt they'll do the same for scotchy
On Lampard, I heard from a very reliable source, someone who’s worked under him that he has some great ideas on football and how it’s played, however he is far too soft in regards to management and values.

I feel with Dyche we are now getting the opposite, players working hard and the old minimum requirement is maximum effort. But the football is very basic/agricultural etc

We argue that Dyche is crap for because he got Burnley relegated but Howe got Bournemouth relegated yet we think he is going to be an improvement. We think he has done a great job at Newcastle yet he will be fired from there soon for not doing a good enough job. Dyche for me is far more stable a manager than Howe. For the next couple of season until the stadium is up and running and we know where we are at and have a platform to build from, I would rather keep Dyche. There is too much uncertainty about the future and consequences of poor decisions made in the past that we are still dealing with at the moment. No manager would look good here at present. I would rather Dyche steers the ship for the time being at least

Newcastle have had the hardest start out of anyone in the league fixture wise, we’ve had the easiest. Newcastle will pick up a minimum of 9 points from the same fixtures we’ve had, I have absolutely no doubt about it. They’ll shoot up the table once they’ve had some normal fixtures.

We should quite clearly be on 7 points now. The reason we didnt pick up 6 points against Fulham and Wolves was due to our inability to take chances. This is frustrating as our next home game is Arsenal. So although over the last two games we have shown we can put away a greater proportion of our chances created now than we could in our first two games as we have made inroads with the striking situation, we are unlikely to create as many chances against Arsenal

After Koeman, Fat Sam, Silva, Ancellotti, Benitez, Lampard and now Dyche in the last 7 years, I am so underwhelmed at the prospect of sacking Dyche, rolling the dice again, hiring another manager and then sacking them in a years time. How can you grow if you keeping ripping up the blueprint and start again every year. We had no choice with Lampard last season as he quite clearly isn't a proper manager. Dyche at least is
