He has a right back who isn’t 38 years old sat on the bench?

…as much as I’d like Patterson to succeed, he’s been very ordinary in his time here.

I’m no big Young supporter but it’s a matter of least worst than who is better. What I do notice with Patterson is the increase in crosses from his side when he’s on the pitch.

Let’s hope Patterson finally grasps his chance but I wouldn’t die in a ditch arguing he should be starting over Young.

Young has been far worse. He’s been targeted and absolutely ripped apart in every game.

Dyche's Media Playbook:
Win against minnows- I am Ruler Supreme, my tactics are for the ages.
Lose/Draw against minnows-xGs were waay up there and there are no easy games.
Lose/Draw against others - Lost on details, the xGs are waay up there, it was like this before I got here.
Win against others - I am ruler supreme and my ministers know best because we see from in here unlike you peasants who see only from outside.

It’s easy to blame Dyche now, but not single person was bothered about Young at RB when the team was announced. It is what it is, we move on.
That's what being a football fan is these days don't you know. You just say 'he could've done all the things he didn't do' and because we don't know the outcome of that situation, it feels mysterious and exciting.
