No cost us 2 I’d of took a point at the start of the game but can’t help but feel we lost 2. His tactical decisions are what piss me off about him and ultimately that’s what win lose managers points.
His in game decisions frustrate me as well but I’ll take a point against them all day long. Thought we were set up well apart from the reluctance to use subs.

Parking the bus from minute 7 at home Against Brighton. Pathetic. And no changes, until they score.
This is why dyche won’t last long at the club this is what big Sam did. You can’t just sit back it’s ridiculous. Yes Brighton are a good side. But they conceade goals and as as they scored we tried to go forward for a few minutes. Got balls into the box 2 corners. I don’t care if he gets us 10th the football is archaic.

All for balance/not changing for changes sake when its tight, but vs West Ham and again today - players were blowing and he had options there.

Patterson and Beto on at 90th minute is bonkers to me.

Needs to start being proactive with subs.

His likely response to you would be 4 points from two top half teams.

Of course every manager can always do something better Dyche very much included but a lot of this criticism would have more weight if we were getting beaten every week. His main job is to keep us in the division with the players we have. He’s on track to do that.

And ultimately that reluctance cost us. Beto should of been on earlier pressing from the front and the right side needed changing Harrison looked tired running out to mitoma for the cross and was a run before that where he looked to be tired. He then reacts to the goal by bringing Patterson on when it’s too late. That goal was coming all half

I think we can all agree he could have been more proactive, both Harrison and Young were goosed at the end.

Still, a million miles away from what the tory clown produced against these at home last season, we are improving.

Fair summary. It's clear we're going in the right direction for the first time in ages, even if that progress is small and slow. But the sheer transparency of how goosed we were today and to not attempt to do anything about it and just blindly hope they wouldn't score is really startling.

Agree he should have made changes earlier, but we’re so much better defensively than him and have been for a long time. Brighton have smashed us at home the last couple of seasons and we restricted them to very little.

I was starting to come around to the Dyche supporters but today confirms he is a poor manager.

That was anti-football, and not utilising his bench Wednesday is just useless.

The run of three games around the cup game have resulted in 4 pl points and into the next round of the cup, one flukey deflected goal conceded.

This really is different levels of complaining from last season when we went to Bournemouth in the cup and league double header.
