Like most football managers he’s full of bluster and nonsense. They all talk about their long term plans and slowly improving the mentality of the players etc. it’s just self preservation.

This is a poor squad and they will take regular beatings from better sides. There is no progression until we spend a load of money or hit a run of good scouting.

He did the minium amount possible and we only stayed up due to other teams being worse, not us better.

Ive gone early for that reason.

I'm not mate, I'm with you on this and think that when he got his payoff at the end of last season for keeping us up he should have gone then. I can already see signs of a disconnect between him and Thelwell over Branthwaite. I think Thelwell wants him to have games hence there has been no links to a replacement CB yet Dyche has reverted back to Keane in games, it's something to keep an eye on imo. Also agree that failure to get a result against Wolves and Dyche is going to have to answer some big questions.

Yes but they weren’t.

Survival was completely out of our hands with ONE game to go. We and Dyche got very, VERY lucky last season.
