2023/24 Sean Dyche

When you factor our transfer budget the past 3 seasons he's doing all he can.

6/10.

Until he's given £60-100m in a summer window like most managers in the league without having to sell one of our better players we can't judge him on any other metric than him keeping us in midtable.

Thats as good as it gets for us and we would be there without the points deduction.
Sigh. Simple yes or no.

Do you think with the squad we have, he should have been able to find a way to win even just 1 of the last 10 games?

(as an aside, most managers in the league don’t get 60-100m to spend without selling players).

We`ve gone past the time for saying "Dyche has to sort this out" or "Dyche needs to be getting more", that`s gone.

That was back at 5 winless, 6 winless, 7 winless, 8 winless, 9 winless. Now we are at a point where he just needs to be removed from his position ASAP.

What was bad about today is that we actually took the lead first, the corner they scored from came from a counter where Dwight rushed into an attack and panicked with his decision (again) and lost it cheaply, why did we need to do that, we have the lead and we made it so open for some reason

But there’s zero chance of that happening under the circumstances with the ownership. He’s 22/1 to be the next manager to leave if you want to bet on it at the moment.

People losing their heads. Dyche isn’t the only problem and has been dealt a terrible hand but also he has to shoulder blame that we haven’t won since early December.

The squad is garbage, especially the attacking options. You can’t be a premier league team with only McNeill and Harrison as wide options…Iwobi has turned into a big miss, bigger that we didn’t replace him with a player dyche would use (danjuma).

Dobbin isn’t good enough end of - McNeill and Harrison are miles ahead of him in reality , he isn’t changing a game if he starts or comes on imo.

Hamstrung by having disgustingly weak options off the bench. I don’t really blame dyche today really as we created loads again, I do blame him for a dog awful selection against Palace and persevering with DCL for so long over this period.

Personally I think he has done a decent job in general but no manager can go without a league win since December and not have massive questions asked.

Draws won’t keep us up and if we carry on with this form (especially with some tricky games ahead) then we are likely going down.
