2024/25 Sean Dyche

Yep, it's fine to get 5 of these games.

But we got 0 from Brighton and Bournemouth that need to be compensated, especially the 2nd one at home and the way we lost it.

Need to start getting some wins at home. Ipswich and even Southampton away aren't quite the regulation wins some are tempted to believe, one look at the away form for 2024 would indicate that.

With the line up and the way the game went you take a draw all day long but ultimately you're not getting that far up the table winning 1 out of 4 at Goodison unless the away form gets really good.

At the moment it's morphed back into a hard to beat team but can see plenty of draws in next two months which won't look so great when running into a fixture schedule of RS, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man. City which is the run from start of December.

Need to get some wins on the board soon. People do realise Newcastle had actually lost on two of their previous three visits to Goodison so let's not make out this is some Man. City level dominance in the fixture.

Competitive against a very good side without our best player. A clean sheet. Another point on sides below us who lost.

It’s not the worst result in the world. 5 points out the last 3 after zero in the first 4 is some progress.
Competitive is a stretch. We looked absolutely terrified. Playing like an away team. It wasn't City, Arsenal or the RS. It was a team that may finish 8

Not gonna repeat, so:

'hun' the first sign that you are losing an argument and have no other strawmen to build.

I like the high horse you're on that you're "winning" an "argument" which I see as a debate which is different. But that's you're aim then...keep winning.

The quote you've pulled is talking about the RS, a top side with Salah and Diaz to give the ball to.

Thomas Frank came out after explaining why they're score in the opening couple minutes in back to back games. Said they play long into dangerous areas and fast and win 2nd balls. Have strong fast players like Schade and Mbeumo.

Dyche will probably keep us up but there isn’t much enjoyment to be had in the process. Let’s hope the new owners steady the ship and next season we can have loftier aspirations than being slightly less [Poor language removed] than three other teams.
