It is possible that he's better off playing wide for us is what I meant, I have no idea either way i've never seen him play number 10 so i'm not going to go all Bilyaletdinov and claim he'd be amazing there when I have no idea. I'd like to see it tried but I'm not going to pretend i've followed the lad's career carefully and can tell you what he's best suited to as a PL player. Look at the precise quote from Dyche that's being discussed:

It's nonsensical, and what you are saying doesn't map onto that as an explanation at all.

If we are to totally discount how well he played at 10 for Sheffield United, then we must also discount how well he played in any other position.

Therefore, there's no 'evidence' he should be playing on the wing, either. No 'evidence' he should be playing anywhere.

So excluding past performances in itself makes no sense.
