2024/25 Sean Dyche

Just calmed down enough from the game to watch the clip of his interview on the BBC site. He’s tried to claim that goalscoring has been a problem long before he arrived. Why does he continue to talk as though he was only given the job last week and hasn’t been in his role for nearly 2 years- and has presumably in that time approved the signings of Beto, Lindstrom and Ndiaye yet talks as if none of this is his fault.
He then goes straight back to talking about defence and the importance of not conceding. He’s got no idea what to do.

That's mate.

It's not ideal, but we are not dealing in an ideal, normal scenario.

I wouldn't want Baines/Coleman who a prolonged period. But for 2 home games in 4 days, that might just work to turn the mood of the squad and the fans around.
Totally agree, they couldn’t be long term but anything has to be better than this, and it might just work like the big dunc caretaker stint did. We need a spark that I don’t think we get without a change.

I said earlier in this thread, Dyche and his football have put Goodison on its death bed, he’s sucked the life out of the fans and the grand old lady in her final season.

For a manager who has kept us up on two occasions why do you get the impression that he doesn't care.

I haven't seen a single moment he has been involved or embraced the club.

I am not talking Solo Lo Major or any balls like that but he makes to comment on how much this club means to him and how proud he should be.

His career at this level is over so get the money and find some dross to takeover but he has blown a huge opportunity to really try to achieve something.

I hope he wins the next two btw but I just don't see it unless he actually starts to look at the way we have to set up and that's 3-4-3 for me.

Has he?!

It's unlikely to occur but I will be preying to any spiritual entity that supposedly exists in the hope he gets the sack this week as I'm flying out from the states for both the wolves game and the derby. I would like us to display the intent as a team to actually win a match which doesn't seem to happen under dyche even a caretaker until the friedkin's can take control and install a more concrete appointment please.

You're asking one of the most obstinate managers in recent years, to be introspective and enact changes?
