2024/25 Sean Dyche

We need BOTH investment and a manager who improves players.

As I say, in my view - no matter the manager this team gives us a lot more bad weekends than good.

That's not me saying Sean Dyche is the right manager under TFG. He isn't. You won't find any fan who thinks that.

He did a great job for what we needed in keeping us up season 1, and progressing us season 2 in amongst the circus of Everton and point deductions. Until ownership was resolved, the managers position was never changing. It's on TFG now to progress us. It seems their preference is to get to the summer - results will quickly determine that. Id be surprised if they don't sack him if we lose to Bournemouth.

I'm just listening to Radio Merseyside (it's on now but I'm on the IPlayer) and they're playing a clip from today's press conference. I mean, Roberto Martinez couldn't dress things up better than this fella. Talking about XG last season when we couldn't score. Some of the rubbish he's coming out with. 😧
Hitler in the bunker was probably more rational than this Herbert is now.

I hope Dyche stays only because, Christ, you’re self righteous joyless passive aggressive entitled bastards and I want to goad you to eruption on here when you’re faced with being wrong on the internet. Even if he takes us down I’ll find a way to irk your barely conceived self loathing.

Can Liverpool relegate us? Please give us this, it would be beautiful hubris.
So, you're saying you want us to get relegated just to spite the Anti-Dychettes and you want Liverpool to do it, and in the process probably winning the PL.

OK then!

As long as Thelwell-approved signings are brought in I can stomach Dyche staying until the summer. I'm concerned that we won't see any significant signings made this month though and also that the manager will remain in post - ultimate recipe for relegation.
Unfortunately I think Dyche and more importantly his style of play will dissuade prospective players to join us. If given a choice of PL clubs they will go elsewhere.

Bin Dyche and attract a better calibre of player.

Forget Dyche and the tactics or anything else for a moment.

How many goals would Andrei Kanchelskis have scored if he was playing rather than Jack 'barndoor' Harrison ?

How many additional points would we have?

Sometimes it may be the manager, tactics AND the players that need to be improved.

One thing im certain of is that a super right winger this season and we'd be 11-14th.
A super right winger would never sign for a Sean Dyche and play in the set up like he employs.

He’s been in self preservation mode for a while, he knows the nose is tightening
